  • The Path is an underground network that allows you to travel under the entire Financial District without going outside. There are many businesses as well offering food, shopping and services. Most of the businesses are only open Monday to Friday, 9-5 - but you can still access the path on weekends and in the evenings. In this video I show you how to get from Metro Hall to Yonge/Dundas Square; Yonge/Dundas to Scotiabank Arena; and Union Station to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.

The nicest shops to start with are in the basement near Front Street. You can access these at street level through the Royal Bank building or First Canada Place. I always said if I lived nearby this area of The Path has almost every go to place to shop.

How about homeless people? It would be an ideal place for them to avoid the cold.

There are many. You can enter from all of the office buildings. From the Eaton Centre. From the subways. Just look for a Path sign.
