- in this video, i give my honest thoughts on lawrence's product design portfolio! i wanted to share this one because the pixel illustrations really stood out to me. i could tell that lawrence put a lot of heart and effort into the design of his portfolio.
when you create something so unique, it's important to edit so that your portfolio has focus.

How to show impact of work through case studies when there's no data? The company I work at does not have any analytics placed to measure what impact my designs made for the business and the users.

I second the above! Would love to see that video, how to show that you do think about data and impact/outcomes despite not being able to show such items due to constraints at work.

Hi @lalizlabeth ! First so glad I found your channel! Super helpful as I'm current rebuilding my own portfolio.
As to constraints, no NDAs but more along the lines of:
- Time (3 days, 2 weeks) presenting abbreviated ux process
- Having strong concepts and reasoning behind design decisions but always end up building "lowest hanging fruit" version (mainly color, icons imagery updates / only shifting components up or down on the page) despite it not being the "best" solution
- lack of data, lack of content/story/requirements (so some ambiguous designing)
- and as above, no tracking to receive any data, after a project is complete to judge impact or know what to improve next
In short, how can you showcase your abilities and knowledge in the ux process and visual design (especially as a "former graphic designer") due to the limits you have to work within.
