    Love to see new players creating content for new players.
    Only thing: Lightning has only 1 auto ability :D

      Actually even my own response was wrong 😂! But hey, she’s a complicated card and appreciate you pointing out the error for me to think about! You right!

    Nice video! Glad to see FFTCG still being around. I regret getting rid of a starter deck I had a few years ago, might have to pick up a new one.

      There’s a few decent retail products that are decent these days. X or XIII Custom Starters, or the VII or XV 2 player deck have some decent choices.

    I was gotten 5 starter decks for Christmas and I’m already hooked and ready to dive in. I’ve now bought a ton more that’s coming in the mail and so excited lol

    I really enjoy seeing your journey through the game and everything it has to offer. Keep up the great content!

    I really want to start playing FFTCG but it just feels dead.. I was recently lucky enough to find someone to teach me the game through Tabletop Simulator. I really enjoyed it and have since looked for online communities to join, to find games to play online, but it seems non existant with most posts being from months if not years ago..

      I think purely-online is tough as TCGs are mostly an in-person thing initially, then those groups practice online sometimes.
      I see a few people in Discords ask “anyone want a game?” but I think most are nervous to game with a random when they’re learning and will make mistakes.

      @@VictorAfterAll Yeah I get they're supposed to be played in person with physical copies but I wasn't really a fan of going to my local game store to play in all honesty.. :/
      I used to play Pokemon TCG and started out with a friend and a couple of Starter Decks which were really bad and a bit of a waste of money tbh..
      We moved on to playing with proxies to learn better and find out what we liked and ended up spending hundreds on the latest meta decks for them to be out of date a few month later.. Felt bad really.. (I don't mind spending money and supporting the game but it did feel too much and most of the time I was buying from other people rather than the company).
      I'd say the majority of time I spent playing the game was online in their client, which was fun to play against other people, without having to wait for the weekly game store or spending excessive amounts of money..
      Tabletop simulator's version seemed really good and I saw Octgn looks good too, it's a shame no one really plays them :/
      But yeah I agree, I think most people are nervous about learning and making mistakes in an engine that isn't scripted.. I wish FF had an official client, I think it would help a lot!
      I think for now I'll just have to convince my friend to play with proxies for a bit and see how it goes..

      I recommend FF Decks and UnTap for online too. I get some games on UnTap randomly sometimes if I put a room up on the odd evening. :-)

    Very nice video. I'd be curious to know what editor you used. I like the glassy reflective shots of the cards you used. Can't go wrong with Cat 13 for power level.

      Some of this was done on macOS in Keynote, it's the simple things!

      @@VictorAfterAll Thats very helpful, I didnt know it was a thing so thanks! But it wasnt what I was referring to, there are tournaments such us the European Championship that makes you play 2 decks and I was wondering how it worked. Like can i play the same deck twice? Do I have to have different elements? How do I determine which deck I play etc

    • @VictorAfterAll
      @VictorAfterAll  Před 5 měsíci

      @@sairutsa Two deck formats mean you have to play with two decks each round. Not at the same time of course. It's a best of 3 format. Game 1 you play Deck A, Game 2 Deck B and if there's a Game 3 you choose which deck to play (I believe, but may need to be corrected there).

    • @VictorAfterAll
      @VictorAfterAll  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Okay, I'm not fully correct. After checking:
      Game 1 - Both players use Deck A.
      Game 2 - Winner must play Deck B. Loser can choose to play A or B.
      Game 3 - In order to win, a player has to have won with both of their decks, so whatever deck you're yet to win with, you play it here.
      Hope this helps!
