Wow! I just found a box of my 80s barbie arco furniture in my parents garage this week. What a coincidence 🥰 the pink arco furniture is definitely 80s because that's what I played with. So fun!

I like doing that ribbon hack for my dolly shoes too! Another variation that I do is using a super thin sewing thread that matches the doll's skin colour or the shoes itself (say for example the Francie ankle boots that always tend to split in the middle) It's not very noticeable and it definitely holds up longer than clear rubber bands! the horse looks very familiar i want to say it is from a princess line or one of the doll lines from the barbie films. This was a fun video sue ii am working on a diaorama i just found a diaroma barbie scene kit it's bare and all i have to do is give it wall paper and a floor and im thinking of a beauty and dressing room scene. so this furniture gave me some ideas. i want to get the kit first so i have an idea of how much furniture i can add my plan is to do a wardrobe, a vanity and a doll size oriental divider that hides a tub. i got the idea after watching a film of a studio that was owned by a stage actress from the 1900s. Her room was a time capsule it was last visited in 1930 and hasn't been entered or touched up until 2017. the stage actress room was very similar to what i have in mind with a very tiny and yet cute bed somewhere in the corner but i dont think ill have enough room for a bed in the diorama but i want it to look like hers because it was super cute. her tub was very old fashion and hidden behind a screen the residents of the building shared a bathroom but she had her own private bath at least her vanity was super cute and im hoping to find little nic nacs because the entire thing was covered in all types of cosmetics photos jewelry boxes and hair pieces. the building was unfortunatly torn down but all of her things were auctioned off before it as taken down but this actress lived very near the threatre that she worked at they literally had a map of the city in her time line and sadly the threatre no longer exists it's now a football field i think. but she was about a half an hour away from the place. it was such a cute little set up i want to make it a barbie diorama and it also gives me a cute way to display and by more barbies lol..

The horse it's cute and yeah should be from late 2000, I got my barbie horse too but mine it's Dallas from the early 80's because I need it for my native American barbie diorama and palomino horses are often used by native Americans. I've already seen the cabinet/vanity table around and it should be from the late 70's, maybe, but I'm not sure at all, then the "bar stool" it's an office chair and I saw u have the back part, just need to fix it 🤗, btw it's from an original barbie play set but dun remember which one right know. Thanx for the shoe tip, my shoe elastics too disintegrated ☹. It's always a pleasure to watch ur videos!

I am thing the furniture is early 80’s haven’t really investigated it yet. But Arco did make some late 70’s stuff too. Even in the 50’s that was wooden.

I want to make some diorama scenes too. I will put up some pictures on instagram of the pieces when I get them all clean. Maybe sell a few too.

Rubber bands are great but I think the reason why they don't last very long they get stretched out and break.
