@@Choryrth Based both on how the main people that bring up woke are people that are against 'woke', as well as Ross's (a person who has shown himself to be progressive in general's) less than complimentary tone, his comedy is probably full of played out anti-woke rhetoric that was already played out years ago, let alone in 2024. The 'Too broke' part is likely an insinuation that being woke / progressive is something that rich, unaffected people do, as common rhetoric is to downplay progressive attitudes this way.
It's an assumption, sure, but contextually, it makes the most sense to me.
@@Renteka-Bond to start off with, i'll state your assumption makes sense, i don't really care about Ross's politics (because why would I? I don't watch people for their political views.), and i figured he was just making a joke.
i'll continue with, i don't see how "woke" can be played out, when the political movement pushing things like DEI (Racism and sexism in the workplace and hiring standards, and discrimination and class systems in everything.) is still going strong, and effecting literally every section of media, entertainment, and even things like schooling and the sciences.
I'm not even going to get into how fucked progressivism has been historically, and is today, due to that not being the point of the conversation.
Though being "woke"/"progressive" is a rich white people thing. Most especially rich white women. That's a fact that's been shown repeatedly through statistics, and history.
It's the same reason you don't see people escaping socialist/communist countries supporting socialism or communism, but you do see rich people in western countries supporting it. ignorance, and lack of worldly experience, and an overinflated sense of self-righteousness and self-importance, especially the idea that "i know better than you", is extremely prominent amongst said group.

I tried Fey Magic in the last Arena and learned that Yorick's Maiden activates it on her autos, which means you can CC both enemies every 15 seconds just by autoing them (which forces maiden to attack your target)

My strategy with the whole economy issue in arena is to use the legendary item anvils to fill item slots when I want to save for a prismatic. Usually ends up lining up pretty well.
I find skipping either boots or the starting item really help align it as well, as long as you can get at least 1 kill per round.

The bomb item is gonna be so broken on every champ who can keep stacking it constantly like swain singed ezreal(with some skill) heimer. Like its gonna be unplayable
I think one of the points of the money imbalance and prismatics is that you won't be off that little bit of gold if you are more consistently gambling with the 2000g semi-random class items, as opposed to spending the extra 500 for your choice legendary

buy more anvils, they save you 500 gold each time, you wont have to skip rounds and will get 2 prismatics a game, as long as you dont drop out.
and for the dnd stuff its always like that, they rarely will do a one shot because its for the fans, and one shots can be hit or miss, they could all roll characters ppl arent interested in, so its just more safe to do what you know they like when you are charging for tickets or the venue. also just in general people like to get invested in those things, one shots dont really do that.
True, but a lot of champs have core items or other items they need to focus on first. Like rammus with thornmail, or heartsteel with the augment. Buying these are a necessity and you cant chance it on the class item purchases. I think the best thing would be for riot to either make income slightly higher, or lengthen arenas by 1 or 2 rounds.

Rammus had the percent increase mr item and darksteel talons which is on hit true dmg off armor, that’s why heim got railed
New Arena fun but they should've balance nerfed bruisers, especially ones with a lot of autoattacking and lifesteal (briar, trundle usw). Theyve been the strongest champs to play last arena and it made the game really unfun since there isn't a lot of counterplay except buy antiheal which isn't enough most of the time.
I thought the patch was dropping today and was annoyed when it wasn't. Loving this content

Im not sure if it was stackosaurus or veigar being bugged, but I could stack the training dummy before matches before.
Prob a bug I reckon, normally when you hit the dummy you would get stacks then immediately lose them@@Deathnom

Nah you need to buy the 2k items instead of buying 2.5k and then you will be able to have 3 prismatic items by the end of the game if you are winning.

the secret to getting an early prismatic, if you win round 1, dont buy boots. if you win the next 2 rounds, you get a prismatic when everyone else gets a normal buy (if you lose a round you can sell starter item to make it work)
