How long has it been sitting? How old is the battery? Also, a moped is a bicycle that can propelled, this is a scooter. Nonetheless, great channel and beautiful Honda!!!
Hey I don't mean to be insulting but I just want to correct you and so many others. A 'Moped' is a 50cc vehicle with pedals hence the name 'Mo' for motor and 'Ped' for pedals. The Honda Helix was the first of the Maxi Scooters. Today we have scooters that are 650cc. The term scooter is usually used for a two wheeled vehicle that your feet rest on a floorboard with a fairing for you lower body. Most scooters are CVT but can have gears that are shifted on the left side handlebar like the Allstate and some of the early Vespa's and Lambretta's.
I love the Helix. I have ridden BMW's most of my life but I was working in Portland and didn't bring a bike with me so I bought a Helix. I had seen them when they fist came out and thought they looked weird, but after riding one I fell in love. Then when I got back to Phoenix I found another scooter I had to have the Yamaha Morphous.
Hey brother ya nailed it. I have ran across so many people in my area where I live and on youtube that call a scooter or a maxi scooter a moped and when I am face to face with the person I always ask right away... "Where's the pedals?" Every time being a clown and never acting serious about it, I really don't care,😁 I just know the difference. I love my maxi scooter like no other bike I have ever owned!!😁
