They won game 1, coming off of a 48 point game 1, but losing while trae had 35 in game 3. The bucks was still a better team imo without giannis compared to the hawks without Trae
I just felt a healthy trae in a game 6 would give you more than 14 on 4 - 17 shooting.

because this was the best competitive playoff series of joels career. he averaged damn near 30 points in a series where only joel and seth curry showed up for the sixers. there was one game where only seth and joel scored for the sixers in the entire second half

I was actually at the Game 1 of this series as a Father’s Day gift from my mom where me, my dad, my uncle, and my cousin all went. Watching the Hawks shoot that Game 1 was surreal.
Ben Simmons passed that ball so fast you’d think Shaq was waiting for him under the rim while Lebron was coming with the chasedown from behind.

How does Trae's injury explain them having no answers for Khris Middleton in Games 3 and 6, giving up a 21-0 run in Game 2, and being dominated down low by Lopez and Portis in Game 5. Don't get me wrong, if Trae was healthy, the Hawks probably would have forced a Game 7, but they were not winning in Milwaukee unless they got a few breaks like in Game 1.

Even if the Sixers won this series, they were getting their asses kicked by the Bucks in a rematch of the Iverson Handicap Series of 2001. Milwaukee swept them in the season series and like in those matchups, they would have chucked Simmons aside and doubled Embiid with Giannis and Lopez.

The Hawks will never win it all with Trae Young as their star, because he will never be a good defender. You can get away with being like Steph, where you're a solid guy who can get steals and def rebounds to offset deficiencies, but Trae is pretty much useless on that end outside of a few passing lane steals. And you can't match up against the upper echelon playing 4 on 5 on that end, especially when your 4 is John Collins, who also defends well every 4th play and watches the game for rest.
Ben Simmons is garbage bro... he should be a 3rd string player at most.
