And him being able to run from the police officers despite the gun shots is also endurance, not stamina. He still didn't make phyeical effort until that, so it doesn't fit.
It's both. The endurance part is being able to run without feeling the pain. The stamina part is being able to run at all. Adrenaline is more powerful then you think it is.

At one point Light assumed he would be able to overpower her (to force her to reveal her true name) because she's a woman, but that was before he knew she was a former FBI agent and he still recognized that it wouldn't be easy as it would take some work from him to overpower her thus why he discarded the option, since it would attract attention.
