Brock's c'mon now...you know your products are the reason why Akro and Yosh had to step their game up...lol And honestly, the other competitors are still trailing behind IMHO (especially street/drag). However, Akro has always been high quality while greatly improving their products since the dominance of your systems. And man do they cost a ton of $$$ more. I've always bought your exhaust/products since 2000's and will always continue to support you. 👍🏽✌🏾👊🏾
Akra sounds and looks better, especially with how beautiful the welds are. Its amazing how they own their own foundries, the hydroforming process and the actual craftsmanship. I’ve been seeing alot of poor welds and exhaust leaks with the Pentacarbons as of recently

Ill tell you man your videos are exatly the shit im looking for on you tube for a month and a half I was torn between going with the akra,yosh, or brocks penta carbon I finally went with the penta carbon after seeing your 2020 1000... Then your video with the sounds of the different exhaust pops up and this one just strengthens my choice of going with the brocks penta carbon and the 185 sprint filter I cant wait for it to get here in april im litterally checking my email daily waiting for that email confirmation saying my order has been shipped ...great videos bro keep the GSXR videos coming

They all sound great, the Brock's is nice and shiny, the Yosh has the nice carbon fiber end cap, and the Akro brand is commonly acknowledged as having a quality build with excellent performance Guess it would ultimately come down to price (which wasn't mentioned?).
The Akro sounds very very good. I can imagine that exhaust wailing away here in the Arkansas Ozarks.

Watching this video in Pennsylvania with snow on the ground and 24° temp. I see a good spot for me to move in for a month or two, right above that vortex sign. Just need room for my 14 and a cot, not concerned with noise.

Both pipes sound great, but I prefer the deeper sound and throw back look of the brock's pipe. I ran a Bassani exhaust on my built GPZ , wiseco pistons yosh cams. Street racing, small time stuff. Im currently running a Two Brother's exhaust and juce box combo
Great video but for the past 15 years usually the Brocks and Akro ran neck and neck give or take 1 to 5 hp either way, but the trick is Akro is lighter but cost more and thats the toss up
I have the alien head on a zx14 and I really like it. It definitely is a flame thrower. I had the Brock carbon fiber muffler before and then I switched to the alien head and put some zx10r wheels on it and it was a noticeable difference but I don't have any after h.p. numbers

Chris, Anderz here from South Oz. Loving the flames and your footage. A question. I just bought a 2019 GSXR 750 with a slip in yoshi, after seeing this comparison, could you give me some recommendations on a full exhaust system, i want flames to toast marshmallows.
I have my favorite full yoshi r77(no baffle), that said, I do like that sound and looks on that Akro. Air filter shootout would be cool. 👍😎

I’m stuck with that yoshi slip on from the factory for now ,,, but ,,, Brocks all the way !!! I’m switching to that full system! Brocks sounds and looks the best !!! Both akro and brocks performe awesome!
Okay, maybe a totally different subject, I do like fast bikes, but I also like to tour. Especially with a big bike.
This might be a difficult question: what engine would you choose if you wanted to custom build the fastest road legal straight-6 motorcycle? (Car engines are allowed as long as their not to big/heavy)
Or would you just go for a K1600 BMW engine?
Great test ! But With same tire, same filter, same wheelbase, You will be surprised what pipe will pull the bigger top speed . This was found with some ZX10 and hayabusa testing years ago. The brocks will show more horsepower but the Ackropovic will pull 2-4 more MPH on top, most people dont know this. I had both pipes on a hayabusa. Brocks looks better(Can wise) , and sounds great ! The Ti Ackropovic are a work (Header wise)of art ! Pick your poison that both great !
Test our CT series VS. The akro. Lighter, more power, better welds. They have a great pipe. We have a true performance pipe. What does it mean? Add our pipe and the bike runs like shit... Because it flows FARmore. Map it, and it all comes together. They would Never sell a pipe that wasn't OK without mapping. It would crush their rep... Who would make it work?
Akro all the way. I have one on my DL650. I usually run it with the baffle installed (quiet). Like to have it dyno tuned but they want nearly $500 at my local place.
Moore can you make some videos with slip on exhaust with ECU flash. GSXR OR ZX10R. just wondering how much HP if some bikes didn't get a Full system. thanks loved the videos

Yessirrrr I've got a 2011 zx10r with a full Akrapovic evolution system and it sounds and looks amazing, I've got the homologated shorty can on it but want to grab their racing can they make. Either that or a racefit exhaust 🤷♂️ I've wondered how a racefit exhaust would fair on the evolution headers and midpipe
What fuel was in the red bike? And as far as looks and sound.... I love the look of the brocks, but the sound of the akra.

But even with the fact the akra gsxr doesn't have a sprint it's still swb the brocks alien head gsxr has a small stretch on it so that in itself is robbing a little hp. I personally think the brocks, Moore mafia flash and sprint combo is just that good lol
Would u recommend a shorter slip on for drag racing or long canister ? For an 02 750 . I’m debating on taking my hinde/Brock’s long can and getting an alienhead

BROCK for sure I have only bought Brock mods for my 2019zx14r extremely satisfied with the service
I had my zx14 flashed by Ivans Performance. On his own personal zx 14 the akra made 10 more horsepower than the Brocks in the midrange. Both exhaust are good but for a fair comparison we need to see the akra bolted up to the red bike.
Yap akrapovic it's going to make more numbers always. Only fake stuff just to full people.

There's too many variables for this to be a VS or even a comparison vid. Same bike same day I dont see there being much difference between the 2 exhaust. Both companies have countless hours into those systems to maximize performance. Would be nice to see this done on the same bike same day to show which one really is better.
Akrapovič sounds sweet, it's a toss up as the black GSXR was on 93 pump gas, GSXR with Brocks was using race fuel if i had to guess..
DW 170-190Hp is totally enough for drag-bike. Even if you have more power it would be hard to transfer it on the track with those tires.
Love the Akron sound but would love to see it with the flames post tune. Guess you can't have both 😢
Just wondering if I need to keep the bike quiet, how much gains does only removing the cat + remaping give ? Like if im keeping the stock exhaust slip on ?

Does the O2 sensor blowing out the pipe change the readings? 47 second mark.
Love to see the diff as you did in the suzi but on a gen 3 zx10 and a full nassert beet....I run the woolich(no tune i deleted it when i thought i was selling bike and system sperately)system of tune and never dynoed just to see..Personally im more concerned with the curve and ratio and time to speed #'s........Akra is everywhere,brocks does awsome stuff but not a fan of that style....Part of the reason why i went with full beet..

Backfires were gone on the Akrapovic. Is it because of the reflash? I suppose you did not install block off plates in the AIS.

I don't own a crotch rocket but i have friends that do but I'm more of a Harley guy myself but love crotch rockets and I wonder what a Brock's performance muffler would sound like put on a big bore kit cammed Sportster Harley Davidson or a big bore cammed

Suzuki had a deal going for a long time that if you buy a bike you get that slip on free, I think that’s why so many have it
I personally like the Brocks on looks also the M4 but, I like the shorty's. I just think those huge exhausts coming from under the bike look gaudy.
both are great exhaust systems but after owning a brocks street meg and an acro exh, ill say the build quality is better on the acro but i did like the brocks sound.
It's also a huge price difference!
Ackro. . . It baffles me how all these bikes & claims of making 200 & more hp . All the bikes & dynos I have seen you do have nvr seen you get over 182 hp from your pulls . What is your personal favorite of combos of 1000 ' s for flash & parts ? And is over 200 actual hp possible with flash tune & parts possible ! Thanks much for all your hard work & commitment to the sport !
Bit of a late reply but manufacturers power claims all come from measuring power at the output shaft in perfectly prepared and monitored lab conditions rather than at the wheel.
Dynos measure wheel horsepower which will always be around 15% lower than the actual engine output but even then, no two dynos will give identical results.
I wonder if stretched swing arm helps or hurts on the dyno, I know it helps put it down on the track but extra weight and distance seems like it would hurt on a dyno, albeit a tiny bit

I wish I can Afford a Brocks exhaust on my 2011 gsxr 750. Someday I will.

Love the Brocks but couldn't live with it as Im an early commuting Busa rider neighbours would kill me!

Straight pipes for short drag races, pulls harder on the low, full system backpressure for higher top end, works the same on any engine, 1cyl. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 10, 12, 16, car or bike

I would have (and have got) akrapovic on my supercharged busa .
Top spec quality , great dyno numbers (360 at wheel) and most importantly it goes through on the decibel testing (105 in UK)
Brocks sound great but would not get through tech spec this side of the pond .

2 chargers available (that I know of).
Procharge and rotrex. 230 ish horsepower options right up to 500 plus for full drag use.
Substantial upgrades required obviously , forged rods , pistons, base spacer to lower compression , lockup clutch to start with .
Not a cheap option but plenty of power and over 200 foot pounds of torque from 5 thousand (without any lag ) makes for huge grins and mid 8 quarters .
To truly compare exhaust, you really need to put them on the same bike, same ecu , gearing and tire combo as well as close to the same weather conditions. That's the only way to get an accurate comparison and to dyno tune each pipe not just throw it on which could be rich or lean etc. So that would take some time. The akro def sounds better and for sure and is a way better quality pipe, you can't compare that. Akro makes custom Moto Gp pipes and car exhaust. Pipe A really isn't a manufacturer, they don't have a ex building facility that I'm aware of. I would bet if you left the ecu alone and dyno tuned both ex suppliers top performing pipe that the Akro would beat it, then you could try a SC project, Arrow and I'm sure they would as well. Get some of those in and dyno test them for us CZcamsrs, we really want to see that. Thanks again Chris, you're bad azz
