For those not aware. All videos that have been posted and also the one tomorrow were recorded over a week ago. Hence why I don't have much unlocked and progress is way less than on stream. This was also before i upgraded my GPU so the frame rate will look a bit choppy at times because my gpu was overloaded.
i deleted cotw for this game now realised its 8 gb buti stopped playing cotw tho so it good

i love that the vehicles don't scare off the animals from 3 miles away like they do in COTW. the animals don't seem to spook as bad. I mean in COTW they can supposedly smell you from the other side of the map.

cotw developers think its fun for you to sneak up on animals from 3 miles away. When you post in their forums complaining they delete the threads, reason been negative.
I believe you don't have to buy those private land passes if you do the story missions. As you get better reputation with the land owners they will eventually give you access for free.
I will look into this when i get access on Tuesday
Though, if the missions are as annoying as in COTW might just be faster to buy them lol
this game looks to be more similar to thehunter classic than call of the wild and I love that. im super excited.
I agree, that alone makes it more appealing and exciting to me.Ever since the Hunter classic came out I've always enjoyed it very much, than Call of the Wild was released, but that game hasn't excited me much, its too predictable, repetitive and too arcade like for my taste.
It looks like every time you spooked the Red Deer, the wind was blowing generally towards them. You'll probably have go be very weary of the wind in this game.
I unlocked a hidden fast travel point. tracked goats up a mountain way and it was a dead end cliff with a campfire. you can interact with the campfire and get a fasttravel point on top of the mountain. I assume there are more such points so look out for them.
Yea those are the campsites, they are spread throughout the maps and are very handy to have
Why has everyone playing this game been saying "7 em em ought eight". In the case of the 308 and any wildcats made from it, it isn't "ought" 8, its 08. The reason the 30-06 is "ought" 6 is because it was conceived in 1906. Just say "7 millimeter oh eight"

Your videos are my favorite and learn a lot about this amazing game! Thank you soo much. Counting hours till Tuesday... It looks that Red Deers will be a real challenge to hunt. Maybe best to find better spot / need zone.
Scarecrow love your vids man, Ive noticed most of the time when youve spooked the animals, the wind was blowing towards them so they could probably smell you, with a game this realistic id wager that wind probably plays a big part in wether or not they spook if youre in cover. Hope that helps :)

That’s the only criticism from my side as a real life hunter in Europe:
During this time of the year you won’t see roe deer bunched up.
Wild boar are usually resting in the thicket all day.
But it’s a game after all and it looks awsome
Its the 1st gun I got after the the tutorial. I use it for everything thats not a bird or the tier 6 animals. So I am always carrying this and a 12 gauge or the 300 for big game. Dont really need the 308 but Ive got so much money now and nothing to buy I just started buying whatever to unlock it. Think another 5k and Ill have eerything unlocked and I have only opened one extra area for hunting
Love the 7mm08, I have one in a Browning A-Bolt II and its a great rifle to shoot with, very accurate.
The Steyr 7mm/08 brings significantly less bullet energy to the target than the 243?!🤔🤯 Tested it on the shooting range💩

I gotta say.... i was hoping to have a bigger selection of weapons at launch. I kinda feel they want to release more weapons as DLC to make more money. I get it, but like damn. All they gave us was a few rifles and shotguns. Not even handguns or bows. Stuff is expensive these days.

i can't wait for this game! the only thing im worried about is my set up not being able to run it smoothly, i had seen in one of you first videos of the game that you had to adjust some settings, which made me curious, what gpu do you have? i have a gtx 1650, which i hope i can atleast get 60 fps on low at 1080p, or 60fps at 900p at medium settings
Shooting a fox with a 30-30 seems a little overkill to me haha

Elite gives you access to the next 2 future dlc reserves for less than if you were to wait till they release. And those reserves will include new guns and gear too

It will take months before the first dlc will even release so you will know if you want to keep playing at that point and it's like $7.50 per dlc it seems at the normal price. But if you really wanna save the $5 then you can still go for the elite edition I guess.

@@GeneralWAITE the heart is small the lungs are big. not bashing on you but why try and hit a smaller target and have that chance to miss, when you have two much larger targets in the same area that will take the animal down pretty quickly too.

It tells you nothing, nothing at all. The first thing this game tells you to shoot is a badger and you do that with the 30-30 because you start with it.
