When I started Mudrunner I thought, Who would play a game this simple.......then 3 months later I was still playing it I was hooked. Then I found Snowrunner and it was the exact sequel I had in mind. When I played MR I thought how cool if it had so and so, and then Snowrunner has it, and more.
The next Snowrunner? Mudrunner? Game will definitely have some desert map, i have a feeling.
@@jean-gabrielgadpaille7955 sandrunner.
@@jean-gabrielgadpaille7955 oceanrunner
@@allendp5214 id love a ship sim of this quality
I play Mudrunner thanks to EGS, then bought this Snowrunner from Steam
With a hull design body shape like that the Tatarin should be fully amphibious, no snorkel is absurd.
Tatarin is based off a civilian version of BTR-80, which both are amphibious in real life. I do wish that was represented in-game.
@@gammafox5431 this is what I was thinking, why add in an amphibious apc and not let it ride in the water?
@@zielonythewolf5069 As I understand that feature is simply not in the game. Some DLC with the Sherp has it, but that's it. :( The BTR should have a snorkel option to compensate for it. Although it's OP enough already.
I mean, it does have a straight-up OP grip (mud friction rating of 8 while most mud tires are around 3), so it's a needed compromise to balance it out.
I love that the Loadstar in this game. The first truck I got paid to drive was a 1968 1600 when I was 16 back in 1998.
Thats pretty awesome.

Hey does anybody know the songs name?
Ayyyyye 100th like
Or just watch the whole video ???
You're the MVP
I can only imagine how long it actually takes to get the raw footage lol
This was a major grinds at the beginning. I struggled a lot getting around the maps but once you get through all the tasks and get up to a higher level, you can finally get that perfect truck - Driving around, picking up and dropping off deliveries is extremely satisfying.
Honorable mention: GMC MH9500 Now with Lake Kovd update it now has AWD
You can use it in place of freightliner, I mentioned that in video.
@ Its still a pretty solid truck early in the game if you get the AWD i even did the first georesearch in russia with it
@@RobikV3 man I love the gmc its been so helpful even without AWD. It did better then the Ford 900 the semi. Gotta hand it to em😆
holy crap you have the same profile pic as me
What a Coincidence!
@@prelawnoob Hey you guys do! Lol
"On top of that, it can do wheelie"
I'M SOLD!
I still didn't progress that much in Snowrunner but till now the Royal BM17 is my favourite, it might be a bad truck compared to one of the best off-road trucks but it can do the job without getting stuck in the mud every 10 seconds.
Once you unlock Azov 64131, you'll notice that even in stock condition it can beat most of fully upgraded offroad trucks.
@@SD1ONE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, STOCK MODE BEAST. & TO BE HONEST YOU DONT NEED UPGRADES AT ALL, IT CAN DO ALL THINGS 🥇
Alexander Wren the royal has awd lol
Royal BM17 with high gear and top engine is literally unstoppable
@@alexanderwren1732 yeah the lack of diff definitely ruins it and it's unstable too if you are not too careful it can flip on it's side, none the less it's still a good truck in my opinion.
Tayga is still #1 in my heart.
Mine has saved my ass more than any other truck even my big ass CAT which has had to pull the Tayga out only one time
True
Same for me
Tayga 6436 and tuz 420 is just the best combo you can have in snowrunner
It's unstoppable and unkillable lol
I work with a Freightliner 108SD which is the little brother of the 114SD, and I can tell that this truck can actually go anywhere, I do a lot of mud/snowy roads as well as some offroad with it. For a truck that weight 14800kg, it is surprising
I personally use the Azov 10x10, whatever it's called. The only issue with it is the low, far overhanging front bumper, causes it to stick briefly in some dips, but with it's ten wheel drive, tight turning radius thanks to six wheel steering, and ability to have a bed, with a crane, and pull a trailer, it's the best truck to me. Can have any tires as well, and gets pretty good gas mileage.
The Loaf should be in this list. Horse of a vehicle and best thing since sliced bread. Strongest Winch in the game. Always rolls back onto its wheels. Turning circle of a house fly. Cheap and easy to get. Lightweight and can be towed behind your main truck as a backup vehicle without slowing you down. Able to climb anything. Only negative = deep mud struggles.
bro i knowwww. Loaf Gang rise up!! you should watch A Tribe Called Cars hes pretty good
Best thing since loaf of bread
@ what're the *pros and khans?*
I love the pacific p16, the insane amount of power it can have offsets the lack of awd, however it’s options for attachments is lacking, it’s a very solid heavy hauler truck, and can go basically anywhere you point it even without chained tires.
Another one I like for it’s utility is the krs bandit, don’t get me wrong, it’s tendency to flip is extremely annoying, this can be nullified or even mostly removed as a factor when the crane is removed, or just positioned over the bed. And because of its permanent awd and diff lock it’s very handy in the early to mid game. It’s ability to take basically any and every attachment is also a massive boon.
After using both the p12 and p16. They feel very similar but i think i may prefer the p12 for the AWD. Do you think the p16s lack of AWD and attachments is worth it?
@@BIGSHARKMAN p12 seems underpowered for most things imo but it’s my crane truck
I used the P16 so damn much when I got it, I can get that truck into and out of some the trickiest places lmao it's so wide that it only tips in the worst possible conditions. If they ever give it AWD it will be O.P.
6:10 in real life BTR-80 (as well as its civilian versions, and all older versions like BTR-60PB and BTR-70) is amphibious, sadly not in the game though
Kolob 74941 was a life saver in the beginning of the game.
Azov 5319 was expected to be something much better. I hated because of its terrible turning radius and because it would get stuck easily thanks to its protruding nose.
Azov 64131: Terrible turning radius, and too long for no good reason.
Tayga 6436 was by far my favorite. With a single truck you can finish the whole game. It can do everything.
Tayga is goated i keep looking for other trucks to use but none really seem as versatile
Tayga rules the world for sure but the Voron AE-4380 is pretty amazing too, even faster but slightly smaller wheels. If speed is not as important but versatility is, the Voron D-53233 takes the cake. It's like the AE-4380 but a bit longer so it can have crane + bed + trailer but off-road gearbox only. The Azov 5319 rounds out this powerful squad of trucks with insane pulling power and pretty much the same speed. If it had a bigger fuel tank I would put it on 1 or 2.
Kolob is nice but in the extreme conditions that warrant that truck I'll usually choose the CAT 745C with fuel in combination with another truck to pull the trailer.
Azov 64131 helped me out big time in the beginning of the game but once I got the 5319, it just felt painfully slow.
I use an fully upgraded International Fleetstar. I know it is a pretty underrated truck, but I can do almost everything with it!
My go to truck even though I haven't progressed very far yet lol
The Azov 64131 was the first truck I bought, I literally sold everything I'd found. I don't use it as much now as I have loads of other trucks, but it's my go to rescue truck, and hauling in the worst conditions.
Azov 64131 is by best sruck
I just bought it after watching this video. It sure makes Michigan easy 😂
Sad not to see the f750 not on this list. Now that it got an engine upgrade it is my favorite scout if even my favorite vehicle in the game. With it’s capability of crane and 1 piece flatbed it’s perfect for those missions.
Keep these videos coming because they’re awesome
Tatarin SHOULD swim! It even has a little door in the back for water pump and obviously has boat like body
Ikr it’s stupid
There is a mod for one with a roof snorkel and all kinds of extra power and customization. Its like a submarine on 51" tires lol
It can swim in real life, it’s an APC
@@thecarindustry9357 it beeing an apc doesnt meen that it floats
@@Chernochegger It bring a GAZ59037A based on a BTR80 chassis means it should be able to go 100km/h on land and 10km/h on water.
your content is great!
would love to see you play euro truck simulator 2
My favorite truck is the loadstar, I’m a noob and I use it to transport cargo because the trucks that they give you at the beginning of the game are so bad, so I sold one of em and bought this truck, it’s so good
Download the Big Bob mod, its wayyyy better
How did you level up fast?
Thank you very much for this information, it is very useful for a beginner like me.
ngl the Navistar is my favorite heavy due to the fact it was the only truck I used for black water and Alaska, and it never gave up on me
Love the Navi it's my go to rescue truck, Plus it's a damn submarine sometimes
*sigh* Showing the successors to the legends just makes me want to see the old vehicles (yes, even the A--968m) modded into the game, heh.
Good list, though. Very good.
A-968m was such a troll vehicle...I wish devs add that vehicle in those new trials maps, I mean those maps are kinda troll as well.
@@SD1ONE I love it. Its only real use is either on Garage point, or modded help, in which case it works for an emergency repair or fuel aid.
But it's genuinely fun to drive. XD
I as well miss the vehicles and logging missions from mudrunner
Schazmen Rassir Yeager you can cheese the garage with 5e fridge and recovering and recalling, good times
@@twingolord REcover and recall? Pff, only if I don't have a choice. The car's for a funstrating challenge, not teleporting!
A nice addon to the 4 axle vehicles would be for the rear axle to counter steer to give tighter steering circle and give steering ability if the front axles go airborne on a ridge. Tire options on the biggest trucks leave a lot to be desired on ice roads. OK for mud, snow, river bottoms and most any other condition except ice roads.
Thank you for this very intresting guide :-)
My personal favorite until i unlocked the azov 5319 was the voron d-53233, i find it to be almost as capable as the azov, but with better fuel consumption, and a tighter turning radius, its ons, and for me, only, downside is that it flips kinda easy, but as long as you choose the right path, it just keeps going
Great vid, well made and no hey whatsup guys blah blah blah FTW! :) Will be very helpful with the recent release on XGP, cheers!
How you gonna do the paystar like that she got me through the worst situations 😂
Voltei a usar o Step 310E muito bom, com Voron 64 e GMC com AWD ficou perfeito
The Loadstar and Tuz 16 are 2 of the most useful rescue/recovery vehicles, because they're heavy enough to tow a truck, have an autonomous winch, and for the Loadstar, can use a crane, making it really good at saving flipped trucks.
Tayga and both older Vorons are really good all-rounders, but the Azov 5319 gets a skip from me. Fuel tank way too small. 64131 fixes this, but I'd still take the Vorons over it.
Same for the Kolobs. Too large, can do the same job with the P16.
One truck I'd have included in this list is the ANK MK38. You can find it in Alaska and it's useful from the start, as it can get through mud and snow on its stock form. Fast, decently efficient, very hard to get stuck. Won't deal with mud as well as the larger trucks, but very good while you can't get them.
The ANK is like an american version of the Voron. I mainly use it as fuel support because it has a really fast high gear.
The Voron D-53233 is by far my most favorite truck. I rarely get any problems with it. It can get through nearly anything with ease.
Perfectly made video. Thumbs up.
The fleet star you get for free is easily my main man. It definitely ain’t top Tier but it rarely fails me
You should travel to Russia and get the Tayga as soon as possible, one of the best.
It is top tier. That's hard for me to accept but the testings showed that fully upgraded Fleetstar performes better than even Paystar 5070. It doesn't look as good but it's very surprisingly capable. And it's got one of the fastest steering in the game. And those aggressive looking Offroad tires (the second ones) seem to be better in mud than even those Mud tires Paystar's got. Fleetstar is extremely lightweight, which helps too.
@@reddevil1540 all those "russian" trucks are too op.
I used the Twin Steer in Maine and that thing is awesome for crossing the Lowlands water crossings.
Thnx for review, bro!)
Everyone underestimates the loadstar 1700 everytime I use it, but I eventually prove then wrong with it, and they ask for help. (I bring out the LS 1700, and their like "Mate. You can't just bring a scout truck and expect it to pull my 6900 Twinsteer!")
That's why I like the Tatra 8x8. It looks like the smaller 8x8s in Mudrunner, and just as tough. Sips fuel, has a large tank, and climbs mountains like a Skyrim horse. It's just slow.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! What was that sick background music?!?
I love the derry 4520, it just looks awesome and it works well for what I need it to fo
The khan marshal is still pretty good it being able to not sink to ice (unless you honk) and it being tiny with a 40 gas tank which consumes little of it makes it really good
It has an 11 gallon gas tank now😒
@@patrickmattingly214 😂
He meant 40 litres, which is 11 gallons.
@@imrekalman9044 duhhhhh. Ty brotha
Very Useful video was playing for long time but been quite sometime I stopped playing… but soon will release on PS5 with 60FBS 4K cant wait for it
The 10 wheel Azov is most stable platform for large crane
Yup...and Now it's nose is also fixed, it does not create as much trouble as it was before.
It would have been perfect if it was available at least from the middle of the game
it can also fit bed+crane+trailer
This video made me get into the game and I still watch it
Just bought the game and I’m totally hooked. Haven’t played my other games since. At first I was very problematic with the starting vehicles and I thought I’m never going to progress in the game. But when I sold everything ang bought Azov 64131 it definitely made my life easier. It’s a slow truck but can get everything done. Then rescued Tayga 6436 in Russia and Hummer H2 in Alaska to put icing on the cake.
video ideas
apache vs yar 87
Dl 3194 vs DL 4520 REMATCH (cos sl 3194 is usable now)
ZIKZ 5368 vs Chev Kodiak
cat 745c vs tuz 420 (cos their both incredibly capable)
great video!!
International loadstar is just insane I’ve pulled a fuel tanker out with mine in Alaska I think it was
Just unlocked the Freightliner 114SD and it's my new favourite truck!!!!
Seeing this I might get the international loadster
I was about to say I just got the voron and it is epic in snow
Great u just made me want to get the game
Did you forget the Voron Grad? Once you get the engine upgrade it's one of the best off-road trucks. Never gets stuck and always manages to pull through mud/ice even when loaded.
Dope vid
2:30 you have you use the other trailers with the paystar (4 axle, 2 axle w. ramp), they fit underneath the flatbed, so theres no issue
I run the twin steer bandit for most things with the repair parts and fuel cage on the roof. It has a crane already and with the mud tires is goes anywhere
Really god Job👌
That Loadstar wheelie cracks me up every time! 😄😂😄
I used to drive cat 740's and other similar vehicles for a living. They don't get around quite as well as you'd think in real life.
5:03 the yellow one looked like another truck :D
The 10x10 azov has become quite good recentle compared to launch. The overhang of the cab doesn't get in the way as much as it used to.
yup i used it... it's very good now... also theek improved derry
@@SD1ONE I'll have to check that out.
@ the 10x10 still gets stuck on everything while the others go through everything easily. Try driving that thing on the Imandra map, it's a nightmare compared to the other Azovs.
@ no, it really isn't. The ground clearance just is a pain in the ass if you go even a bit offroading. Everything this truck can do, others can do too with better clearance, especially the offroad Azovs. I don't know how often I had to wiggle that truck for minutes to get off a tiny rock or use a winch because it can't pass over anything. Driving along the beaches is almost impossible. And don't even get me started with the ice pieces and crossing the frozen river. It's okay ish if you stick to the paths, it's completely useless for offroading.
love the freightliner 114sd and loadstar 1700
I have never been able to get the kolob stuck
The Azov 64131 is a capable truck. It’s slow but you can tow any type of cargo an aarive to destiny safe and sound. Inlove it.
I still use many variants of the international fleet star. Very versatile and good for everything but broken ice and deep water
I like to think of the tayga as the c-255’s little cousin
My best truck in the game is Azov 64131 and my second is Tayga.
A love these two trucks.🥰👍
Honorable Mention: Pacific P12,you do not need any level or unlocked maps to get it,you just need money. It has AWD that can be switched off and difflocks wich are always on as standard..It can Haul easily.
I can’t say it enough but I love all of the spintire/mudrunner games
Number one is great, but put a fuel tank on the back of it and it is very easily tipped over. I used this truck in Wisconsin, on the new map to tow the generator trailer, and I had the fuel tank on it. As soon as you hit uneven surface, it will fall over very quickly.
I usually favor the Azov 64131 most of the time even though it's very slow but at the same time the gas mileage is awesome even very powerful to haul heavy cargos tayga is my 2nd favorite
Hi can you please do a top 3 in each category? Thanks
Highway, trucks for you: international is the worst, ford is still shite but a tiny bit less, and the GMC sucks too, but it has diff lock, which makes it 100x better than the rest, also the new updates gave it AWD so it is actually a decent truck now, use it for scouting with fuel/repair attachments. The other 2 highway, uhhh don't even bother, just sell them straight away when you get it.
The 1 the only c-255 forever in our memory :)
in my opinion i love the cat 745c because the tires are big and is to op i even use it while exploring mountain river, white valley, pedro bay
I like the Derry longhorn have you compared that to the one you put as number one that would be a good comparison
Victoria Evelyn no one uses longhorn
woooo bruuuh that wellie :))))
For the paystar the side on the tray was hitting the trailer causing it not to turn as sharp as it could
Perfect. I use almost all of them. And btw, the worst terrain in my opinion is the slipper rock one. Its such pain in the a*s that I thing its also mayby too un-natural.
it's a nightmare without chained tires....I won't even bother with chained if it's not for those sections
My first bigger truck was Azov 5319. This truck is very bad for the beginners because you have so a big fuel issue and you can't reach little bigger tasks. So still it's one of the best. I think if you find the upgrade for the gear and you install it, you're gonna be able to drive 40 on road. Amazing. Still I would recommend you to play this truck with a friend who carries all the fuel. You'll make a lot of it.
Well either pacific P16 or P12 should of been in the list, p12 really is capable, p16 is a monster with the best mud tires.
It is both just like kolobs it also lacks chained wheels and 8x8 Azovs can easily replace those super heavy trucks in my opinion
@@SD1ONE yeah you are often right, anyway i do use the azov.
Lmao I thought this was gta for a second😂
Loadstar is great but you REALLY need the raised suspension
Azov 64131 was on of my favorite
TatRin is a swimming thing with body with a water displacement it have a telescopic snorcle, same as its donor - BTR80
The Navistar 5000 is great for heavy haul.
Tayga is the name from one of my Husky's and the Truck itself is just a Beauty too ';.;' ;)
Bro this video is soo accurate, you definitely nailed it a 100% I agree with everything in this video, phenomenal work 🥇
Bearfootbob how would you even make a good list? None of this can be backed up by facts. It’s all subjective
@@christhompson4950 everything in this game is subjective. there are players that can do quite well with azovs. and some that do better with tayga and voron. and yes you back your findings quite easily. by timing your runs , how easy was it for you with a particular truck, your time management . time you have to play , by how much you can / want to get done. it is a wide variety and can be backed by your particular play style. normally ( from what i have seen) once you get around lvl 20 you already know what works for you. These lists are great helpers for those trying to figure stuff out still. and there should always be alternatives. because i know there are many players for and against azovs. and like to know what others are using.
If you take the crane add on of the fleet star GMC paystar you'll find they'll turn much better as the crane takes up some space on the back end
Just swap to the flatbed for paystar. Use it with crane and trailers all the time. It's my go to truck.
The whole point of that portion was to have a crane + bed + trailer
Good to know
The zirk starter rig the tiny one makes a great scout if fully upgraded just watch them turns
My favourite scout is Khan LO4F because i like it skin and its a little bit funny when public transport has 33 mudtires
My favourites are the Cat 745C, Tatarin, 6x6 scout and azov 64131.
The caterpillar can drag heavy weight but it’s huge and slow not fun to drive specially with no snorkels
Damn so the truck I just drive because it has a nice interior is a top tier truck lol
The tatarin is the best scout in the game. It can handle any terrain except super deep water without any significant speed reduction, it can haul any truck or trailer with any winch, and it's just OP in general
until you have black ice on imandra.
No ones gonna mention that the ANK MK38 absolutely shouldve been in this video? With all the upgrades i still to this day have not got it stuck.
Falls over too easily, thirsty with a small fuel tank and zero bed options. Absolutely shouldn't appear on anyone's Top 10 until it gets the Tayga mud tyres in Phase 2.
@@stev579 nailed it. i really WANT to love the ANK and its a hella fun blasting around maps with it, but it is suitable for only a small handful of missions in it's current form
Cool vids
I’m a little late to the party, but I think the ank can fill the same roll as the azov 5319 for hauling time trials. Especially with the taiga tires available on it. It’s in the same spot with fuel consumption, but in terrain that would require low gear for most other trucks, it just runs like a bat out of hell through. No need to even put the off-road gear box, take the high range for slightly better milage and live on the edge. Not as stable or versatile as the azov though since it can only have a sideboard bed.
Pretty much any truck with always on diff lock is better with the high range gearbox.
i'm such a massive simp for this game
same
One of the more honorable things to simp for
