  • Interesting start to clinic season... a tornado in Maryland that almost went directly through the farm they were at! We just got back to the house from feeding and alerts were going off like crazy on my phone and computer. I watched the weather forecast as someone from the barn was sending me updates on the ponies... I haven't been that worried in awhile! It was sooo close to them. The thumbnail and video you see are after it was past them, it was closer prior!
The rest of the trip was great so far! Finishing my NC stops, and then heading to MD, then New England. Clinics are all done in New England now! Thanks for joining on my "on the road" adventure this year!

That tornado was a tad close and crazy. So good the barns etc were unscathed! Sam, get some rest!!!

😮 I live in Kansas City and I’ve never seen a tornado like that. Scary. And I still think Pixel is one of the prettiest mustangs. Her coloring is gorgeous.

Tornados are the one reason I’m worried about moving back east. Everything else is great, but tornados scare me 😂

I am impressed your drive to get the horses loaded and ready to drive by 2am and up working horses another day at 5am. Arriving for a clinic before 7am. What is the key to making this happen? Just loving what you do?? Always enjoy your content.

Pretty sure that’s a killdeer. They make their nests on the ground and draw predators away by pretending they are injured.

Killdeer make their nests on the ground often in inconvenient places. At our nature center, we stopped putting up safety cones because the crows learned they meant "eat here." Eventually the Killdeer find better locations that are more successful.
