Sorry I wasn't able to do a Thursday video this week! Pup & Jeff were in town for the 4th of July and I just really wanted to soak up that time. We laughed so hard, ate nachos by the pool, shouted commentary about the fireworks... it was just perfect in every way! I missed Pup so much!

I've seen so many mixed reviews of the CT foundation stick but I think it looks so pretty on you. You look like you're not wearing any foundation at all, like you just have gorgeous skin.

What a pretty look! That NARS palette seems perfect for summer. Those little spatulas that come with the lip sleeping masks are super handy for when you've used up a lot of product and it's hard to use your fingers without getting product under your nails.

The Ordinary has the best products for the price. I use Argeriline (botox in a bottle)daily but stopped for a few months while I was in Aesthetician school. I'm 60 years old. I purchased it again in April, and I can see a difference in my forehead within 2 weeks. Good morning Emily ❤

I LOVE The Ordinary Multi Peptide Eye serum! I saw the difference after one bottle. I gave it to my aunt who’s in her 70s and she has received so many comments and compliments on her eye area. I’ve also added the Multi Peptide face serum and my marionette lines are lessening. I switch up my serums so haven’t gone through a whole bottle yet.
I'm going to double dip here and ask for a video. It would be great to see a round up of some recommendations for multitasking palettes. Pleeeaaase?
Looking great! I love the Ordinary too. I find the Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% is a great brightening serum that has stabilized vitamin C. I found it at Ulta!

Tgat NYX Epic Smoke liner stick in Nude Haze has become my absolute need for a bedroom eyes brown. It smudges perfectly and makes a great base for lighter colored eyeshadows. Thank you for introducing it so many months ago. @@emilynoel83 I use the Paula's Choice serum too but it's really expensive. If you didn't see my other comment - check out The Ordinary website itself. They have like, a million Vitamin C products there and they have the full range. Sephora doesn't have the full range, at least in Australia. I just buy direct from them online.

Your base looks amazing!! You just look so healthy, radiant and youthful!! I don't think I could pull it off bc I have oily skin, but you def do!! Also, I love the little view out of your window. In the fall/winter/some spring, it's so dark that you can't really see anything. Now, it is bright, clear and beautiful! IDK, it might sound odd but it's the little touches that I appreciate lol. Oh, and with the additional thoughts, you gotta love autocorrect!! Sometimes it's so funny that I don't even go back in and correct it!! ❤❤
That is my favorite blush shade on you EVER. That is the perfect shade for you. Also, I am very interested in trying the foundation stick. I discovered C Tilbury products this year and am in love with all of their products.
When I use the CT stick, I use a pore primer, Elf, 1st before application, so the pores don’t show, I just use a little bit under my foundation.

I love Nars face palettes and have enjoyed past limited editions. I would get this one if it had a blush instead of the 2nd bronzer. I would have liked to see a light palette and a deeper palette, both with a corresponding blush shade rather than one palette with 2 bronzer shades. I would never use the deeper bronzer in this palette and someone with a deep skin tone probably wouldn’t use the lighter bronzer, so it’s a wasted product when instead a blush makes more sense.
I got the CT foundation stick yesterday at Sephora. I was hoping Ulta would get it in so I could get it free with points and that hasn’t happened. I will use it up over the summer when I like a lighter product.
Charlotte's latest launch is designed to mimic glass skin, ideal for those of us that don't have problematic pores & imperfections. That being said, a pore filling primer combined with pin point concealing & strategic setting powder is a helpful tool to combat any issues.

Our Kohls has a Sephora too. Which is nice since JCP no longer has a Sephora. But I’m an Ulta girlie because their points is so much better. We refer to Ulta as “the mothership” 😂😂

@@neneg.4264 yep I hit it around the time of my palette release. I think I gained a lot of people just for being promoted by the brand, but I'm guessing they weren't all exactly into the content. I've learned to not live & die by the numbers, but do what makes me feel fulfilled :)

Love your nice summertime look. I also just bought the Charlotte Tilbury foundation stick. I ended up putting the Wet n Wild photofocus stick on with it and kind of melted them together. That worked nicely. Give it a try.

For vitamin C skin care, I highly recommend the Japanese cult favorite Rohto Mentholatum Melano CC line. I’ve used their lotion (in Japan it’s called lotion, but it’s actually like a clear viscous toner to Westerners) and their cream. I recently bought their star product, the serum, and will try that next once I finish up my current serum.
The CT foundation stick looks like the Hollywood Face Filter in a stick. I bet it would be a lovely primer.

I do use the LaNeige spatula as I hate to dig my fingers in a lip balm! 😂 I need to wash my hands first and I mostly use it before going to bed so don't want to get up to wash my hands before I apply the lip mask! 🙄
Hey Emily, I agree with you about foundation stick. It doesn't do you justice. It did cause your lower cheeks to look textured and I've never seen that problem on your skin. Glad you and your family had a great 4th of July. God bless you and yours.

In my opinion , that CT foundation stick is really just a stick version of her glow filters! It has zero coverage! I would recommend it to be used as an under foundation glow booster. ❤😂

I'm still using Nars laguna, I actually have it in two shades. I bought it within the last year so I think it's their latest formulation, it's really silky and nice.

Your bronzer level is great. It balances with your full routine. It only looks heavy before that full routine is done, rather like my eyeshadow can throw me off until I put on mascara, which is often at opposite ends of my routine. 😣 I think almost all but the lightest, most minimal looks have that ‘trust the process’ moment, yes?

You know I was interested in the Lawless blushes when they came out and I watched someone and she said they didn’t blend good but you and everyone else say they’re good. I love the colors she’s got in the range
Timeless Skincare 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum. I've used for about 5 years and I love it. Target also sells it online (my tiny Target does not have it in store) but Timeless Skincare has up to 40% off sales several times a year, so that is when I buy it. It also comes in a 10% strength if your skin is sensitive. I've never had a problem with the 20% strength. I'm a huge fan of The Ordinary for a number of their serums. I love the formula of the that Tower 28 juice balm. I have the shade juicy coral and that specific color is super pigmented. The absolute perfect color for summer!

Hi Miss Emily! Love the video and makeup look at the end. Don't know if this is an interesting video idea, but I wonder if you could do a video where you use prepping tips and tricks from both makeup brands and non makeup brands, cuz I brought a lip ointment from the brand Blistex a while back and on the packaging, they mention that beauty pros used the ointment as a base before applying lipstick to help with texture, letting it sit for like five minutes, then removing any excess ointment before putting on whatever shade of lipstick they've chosen to wear that day. I just thought that was kinda neat that Blistex would give a nice makeup tip like that and thought it would be an unique video idea using tips and tricks from brands like that. Happy Saturday 🎉🎉❤😊 I would have an ask 😁 could you try out some items from overlooked brands like PUR and Winky Lux? They are very underrated and forgotten it seems. I have quite a few make up and skincare items from the brands and usually love everything and the quality is good. I know they are higher priced but you can always find good sales multiple times a year. Maybe also have a look into Pixie or Ciate.

Recently went into a Sephora in Kohls and unfortunately was underwhelmed at what was there and many things out of stock. I'm sure some are better than others, but I wouldn't head out there again. 😢

Are there eyeshadows these days that work for a one-shadow look? (Not including the L’Oréal infallible.) I miss the Milani Bella Eyes and wish they would bring them back!
seems like so many brands have dropped their singles - however I need to double check what's actually being sold by CoverGirl & Maybelline because I used to have several that I enjoyed for 1-shadow looks!
