1:23:00 is the perfect board setup for using Shiva. He only had one empty, while you had 4 and you would've completely commanded the board
that would be a sick play!
The techno music kicking in while fighting the “Sandstorm” enemies is perfect! That’s gotta be on purpose, right?! 😂
Shiva is an end game card. Try to fill the board quick with empty spots and then play Shiva to fill it with as many points as possible. I've won a few matches doing this tech.
Since you asked Ryu. Spent 100 hours on first play through and then went through again on hard mode. Another 100hours. Completed almost all the objectives. But did not get platinum on it.
The fact the ryu knows about the importance of assess, mentions it multiple times and is still like nahhhh ain’t going to use it, drives me insane 😂
Hey Ryu, I’m not playing the game myself, just watching you do your thing. I’m glad you enjoy the mini games bc I really liked them back in the day from 7, 8, and 10. I used to really like trying to get all the summons too, and would like to see them if possible for this one. Thanks and bye bye

Use Focused Thrust when an enemy is pressured. It greatly increases the stagger bar. Also. Prayer materia, uses two ATB bars but will cure all three party members.

By thy way, the simulator can yield some very useful rewards, but if you don't start scanning all the enemies in the field, you will not unlock a lot of the simulator content. On top of that, scanning will help you with a lot of your struggles. It seems like you were struggling with a lot of the flying enemies, but 9 times out of 10, their weakness is going to be wind magic. Cloud can be very effective against flying enemies if you learn how to effectively fight with him. In fact, he can do better than your ranged fighters, if you figure it out. Learn to use blade beams consistently and he can also jump into the air to fight flying enemies. I'm really enjoying watching you play this! I beat this awhile ago, now I'm playing Final Fantasy XV again.

Assess is amazing in that it'll tell you how to damage an enemy instead of dealing it single point damage. Imagine that.

When it came to the Mindflayer, you were meant to take cover behind the rocks he pulled from the groun in order to avoid that one hit kill. Luckily, he didn’t have a chance to pull those rocks from the ground your 2nd time around, otherwise he may have taken you out the 2nd time unless you put it together that you had to take cover.

I do love that he hasn't done any of the character tutorials and then says I don't know how to play as any of these characters.
I wish they made things deeper in Ff16 between Clive and Jill...i felt they were strong enough characters to support a more complex story plot
It sux we have to wait long for these videos. I understand because of the mario content. Unfortunately, he's handcuffed to doing that, but seeing when he genuinely enjoys what he's playing he's on a level of entertainment that we can't enjoy often.
If you put the Shiva card down on one of the open 1 green dot spots @1:16:43, it would've given you a "6 diamond dust" on the 3 dot spot. 1 dot=2 diamond dust, 2 dot=4 diamond dust, and 3 dot=6 diamond dust.

not yet. i have it downloaded though. as much as i want to play it, i'm kinda hooked on this final fantasy at the moment.
I'm sure I"m gonna sound like an old nerd by saying this, but... I miss turn based fighting.
Use more their abilities. Radiant ward for Aerith and pretty much all the ATB ability attacks from all the characters are much more effective than magic. Also use the weapon exclusive abilities to make them always available.

1:24:23 This is probably a card that will win you a LOT of queensblood games if you know how to play it right. Every time a card gets destroyed your or your competitor on the board this card adds points to it.
1:34:18 I am on chapter 13 of 14 on hard mode... I've done all the nightmare 3 man brutal challenges and got the gotterdammerung. I'm working on platinum trophy for this game. 196 hours so far.

@@ryushorts The way your taking your time odds are you're not gonna miss one. Plus if you in chapter 12 you can go to all the areas you've been to prior and find them again. Honesty there were only 2 weapons I missed that were later in game and it areas i never went to and i didn't spend no where the time exploring like you did. Chest with weapons are purple in color so that an easy way to spot one... like the one you found in Aerith's room at 1:43.
This is another game that i will never play but will sit and watch you play all of it while im working 🫡
