Wow thanks. Looks like smooth cuts no issues....extremely hard to do with a standard router.
This has really changed what's possible in a small shop, for me. The on-tool programming is really easy, the controls are very intuitive, and as far as automated tools go, it does a great job of protecting itself and the workpiece from human error.
it has those two little slots on your red button side of the plastic cover I just put a piece of tape over it and it draws all the dust down instead of spraying it out on the side
A quarter of the time, the biggest problem is forgetting to turn the vac on.

How did you do that without getting any tear out? Whenever I cut a circle there is a lot of tear out.
I only cut 1/4" deep passes in hardwood, and I stop the last pass just short of full thickness, all at an offset of maybe 0.01. Then I make the final clean-up pass at full depth with no offset to clean it up and cut it loose.

It's a Whiteside RU2100. The U.S.-made Shaper branded bits come in the same packaging and look really similar. I haven't found anything that says Whiteside is their OEM, but it's a guess.
