Those mountains are the Montserrat range. I find them so dangerous to drive by as you cannot help but look up at them! Stunning and totally other worldly.

I think your new friend was telling you that he weighed 60 kilos and your bike weighed the something similar also 'Ostras' literally means 'Oysters' in Spanish but the meaning in this situation is more like 'Good Lord' or 'Holy Moley'. Well done on that 1000m ascent.
