Vega the watcher looks like an excellent card in the 99, it will make you draw a lot of cards for free with all that casting from the top of the library.

This will be interesting in my Alela deck. And it is worth noting that this card affects all cards with flash, not just creatures. This means you can cast The Wandering Emperor from the top of your library for example. Other cards with flash worth mentioning would be Dictate of Heliod for a surprise anthem effect, or Swift Reconfiguration to mess up an opponent real bad.

@@MusicalShaman I don't think they would work because these cards say "You may cast spells as though they had flash", but it's not actually giving the cards themselves Flash. However, after looking at the pool of cards again, there's Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir which has "Creature cards you own that aren’t on the battlefield have flash.", so that one can work at least for non-flyers.
Using Giada as the commander just always give me Aliens “why don’t we put her in charge!?” Vibes.
Forget the angels. WotC printed art with a gun in it.

Errant and Giada......I only use angles so youd think this card would excite me but it's blue. The blue ruins its. If it was white/red or white/black this card would be legendary for EDH. This card will see a lot of causal play. Or make a white commander deck with access to blue mana just to cast her.
The blue is the only thing that makes it decent without it it would just suck
In what world a boros or mono white deck is better than an azorius one? Lol
The problem is the flavor
With this kind of effect, it has massively more potential and synergy in W/U rather than mono white or even R/W. Hell, I've been playing since '04. If something like this were to have been around during the original Innistrad or Zendikar days, it would've boosted so many other cards' potential.

My two cents? I always enjoyed the decks based on budget commanders instead of those build around non-budget commanders.
I am amazed at how different the card stories are from the written ones. They just don't even really bother to match them up now. Giada didn't even fight in the story, she just directed the other angels and helped out. I don't remember Errant in the story. I wish they would match them up, like explaining how or why Thalia is riding a massive toxic toad.
Where do we get the stories?
I started playing back in 95 and quit for over 15 years.
Back then there were no stories so this is kind of new to me.
I’m intrigued enough that I wouldn’t mind some of the lore of expansion set stories but I am totally unfamiliar with what to even search for or what words to use.
Errant was the protagonist of the New Capenna side story.

If you want to build Angels specifically, I think Sigarda, font of Blessings is better.
It's basically the same, lets you cast from the top of the deck, but for Angels and Humans. The thing is, angels are usually expensive to cast, and having them removed hurts, well sigarda gives them hexproof, and you have access to green ramp.
With Errant and Giada I'd focus more on flyers in general, smaller, but faster and make this more aggro oriented, compared to a Sigarda Angels deck.
I've wanted a tiny flyers tribal deck for awhile. So looking forward to this.

since it gives historic spells flash, ten the card essentialy would be "you may cast cards with flying flash, or historic cards" or something like that?

It doesn't. It doesn't give the cards flash. It just allows you to cast them as though they had flash

Resolving the mana problem in white and you could have a decent deck as long as you don't brick

I still prefer Nymris, Oona's Trickster for a Flash deck. Access to Black gives much better control options than White.

This is a horrible angel tribal commander... but it's be a great generic Azorius Flyer commander
No... I have built Inniaz and I have built Raff flash. This is the single best and my most desired card ever to exist, I've wanted a flash flyer that wants both in blue and white this is finally all I wanted flash flying Tribal is what I've wanted for so long. Thank the gods 😩🙏🏽.

This is not an angel tribal commander. Yes angels have flying but other then that it does not benefit angels in any way. Font of Hope is still the best angel commander out there.
As other people have said there are also other commanders that are better commanders that benefit flying.
This isnt even top 3. Giada, Avacyn, and Lyra are all infinitely better commanders.
This isn't really an Angel tribal commander. It seems like another casual Flying themed commander. It doesn't really do anything to support Angel specifically.
from a strictly angel tribal perspective. this is a downgrade. but the plus side is that we can have access to blue. But really. it doesnt have an angel pay off. Giada does, Lyra does.
They are nice, but NOT an __Angel__ commander. Morophon or Kenrith are still the best ones for .... Angels ..
Giada pumped up the angels and allowed them to go down earlier, now she's _almost_ useless in a tribal deck. Yeah she's card advantage somehow, but Angels usually cost A LOT of mana and neither white or blue does something huge impactful for addressing it. Nice help in the 99 anyway.
