That's quite a lesson! I learned that these words are similar but not interchangeable. I appreciate Andrea's explanation according to the context and examples. You're awesome! 👑👑
Aww yeah! It was really amazing lesson and I am elated with this lesson by Andrea. Such a great day today. I am so excited. Thank you for your lesson, regards from Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Hi Andrea. Thanks a lot for that such an useful video. I have known most of them. These words were new for me: ecstatic, on cloud nine, dismayed, intrigued, mortified and petrified. Describing our feelings in another language can be so hard when we are learning it. I have learnt so many new words because of your videos. Don't give up sharing new videos. They are my biggest helpers. Take care. "Türkiye'den selamlar."
Awww yeah, whenever I'm learning new expressions I'm always walking on-air and that's exactly what I want to understand. So I'm very thankful to you, Andrea. Greetings from Colombia.
These are the words I didn't know: Content Elated On cloud nine You look a little blue I was dismayed Mortified Disgraced I'm outraged I think they are not that much!! Thanks for the PDF with all these words it's pretty useful!
This type of lesson helps me improve my English effectively and quickly. I usually make handy notes of this type of lessons and try to implement what I have learned thanks to you at the first opportunity. It works! 🙂
Besides the perfection of the lesson, the graphics are also amazing!! Watching your videos is quite a delightful and beneficial activity. You are just great in every respect. Thank you!
None of these words new to me but it indeed help me more understand the adumberation of these words and adhere the words inside my head, tqsm for this lesson. Keep up the good job, never dissapointed . I alwayz learn something new / interesting in your channel everyday 😊👍👍
At the beginning of the pandemic, I was really puzzled. There was a lockdown that forced me to be cooped up in a small bedroom without much communication. That led me to experience crippling anxiety and cabin fever. Then there were news media reports of corpses rotting on the streets because there was no capacity at the cemeteries. I also heard about hospitals that turned away patients. Then I saw the death toll, and I still feel down in the dumps when I get the news about that. It's so frustrating that we can't do much about that hopeless situation. However, there is also hope. When I knew that the vaccine was a reality that made me feel elated. There has been a lot of progress since the rollout of the vaccine. Sooner rather than later the world will be thrilled to bits.
I know the word "Excited" means "Very happy" in English, but you have to be careful when using the literal Brazilian Portuguese translation "Excitado" because it means "sexually stimulated (Very happy, but sexually happy)" LOL. It's a tip for Justin who is learning Brazilian Portuguese.
It also applies to Spanish. I think there are many words with that feature. "Molestar" in Portuguese is like "to molest" in English but in Spanish is "to bother." In Spanish "exquisito" means "exquisite" in English but in Brasil "esquisito" means "weird" .
For me is little bit difficult to learn these emotions becouse there are many of them. In polish league there are diffrent levels of emotions too. For example levels of happines in polish: zadowolony, wesoły and szczęśliwy.
How will I learn English If someone is speaking English, then I cannot do anything except see his face, I cannot understand, can I? Tell me of a live class that I can join and American I can talk to this Australian speaker

I’m always confused by “nervous” and “upset”. Doesn’t they have angry meaning also?
Upset means sad, For example if your pet passes away you will be upset, But nervous means having stress for example I'm super nervour for this test!
