The commentators were awesome on explaining the strategy, so cool that they deduced all those plans with the XI turn & made an 8 minute wait interesting!
Great game from both players. Impressive that Adam managed to push ahead despite his opponent drawing 2 blanks. And a tough loss for Will - it's hard to see what he could have done better.
Also, perhaps an additional reason behind Adam's headshake may have been Will blocking his X bomb through the E in Oestrone?

Maybe Adam took 8 minutes to “bluff inferences” (make Will think he has the Q but only one I)?
shouldn't it just be pronounced estrone, since "oe" is an optional spelling for certain words with "e" from Latin "oe", and in English is just pronounced the same as "e" in every word that can be spelled either way
What’s the benefit of bingo?
When you bingo, which means playing all 7 tiles on one turn, you get a 50 point bonus on top of what the word scores on the board. At the highest level of scrabble, both players would be expected to bingo multiples times. Thanks for watching!

How is the grandmaster and master title given to a player?
Both Adam and Will are considered NASPA Grandmasteres - NASPA is the largest governing body of tournament play in north america. They publish their standards here (scrabbleplayers.org/w/Player_Titles) but the standard for grandmaster is looking at OPR (overall Performance Rating) over any 5-year span, and and those in the top 1% are NASPA Grandmasters
