  • In this workshop, Fr. David Marsden SCJ, Simon Leigh, Karen Jordan, Kate Parsons, Carly Bray-Flynn and Tara Rafferty share who the Men & Women of St Joseph are, how these groups came to be formed, how prayer/study/fellowship are the basis for their weekly meetings and how all men and women are welcome, no matter where they're at in life and whether they are religious or not. A good resource to watch during this special year dedicated to St Joseph!

If anyone is interested in the Men of St Joseph in the Gateshead area (in Hexham & Newcastle Diocese) please get in touch with me.
We've been going 2.5 years and have monthly Bible and Breakfasts, monthly Adoration and Ales, monthly Fireside Fraternites during the warmer months, a weekly Exodus 90 (and "Day 91" follow-up programmes) fraternity meeting, and one-off events such as hikes and support of 40 Days for Life.
All men are welcome of all ages and backgrounds.
We have a good proportion of men who have young children, so we try to time our events to avoid peak family periods such as early-evening bedtime routines!

Well done Paul Hammond. We need these groups everywhere. Men are the head of our families and in my experience it’s always the wives pushing for church and Rosary and extra masses. We need our men to lead us in this spiritual battle we are in right now
