My thing is that I won’t eat food that’s become both expensive and bland. Where are the seasonings?! Flavor? It just feels like I paid to get the food heated up. I just started planning ahead for the meals I crave and it made me realize that I just don’t know if I can go back to spending $30 $50 dollars a meal.

I marinated tilapia over night with lemon pepper, parsley, baked it in the oven, made au gratin potatoes, corn, garlic bread for us tonight. That would have been ALEAST $25 each in a restaurant. Have enough left over for tomorrow night. And they wonder why people aren't eating out. Later I am opening 2 cans of tuna, boiling 4 eggs, cutting up some green onion, slicing up some yellow onion, olives, banana peppers, adding mayo, relish, lemon juice and making tuna salad, hubby and I will have sandwiches for a few days from that for lunches, midnight snacks.@@frankcorrea8691

I totally agree, it was my go to restaurant back in the late 90’s up until 2015, then went south on their quality. I had to complain to their management about smelling cigarette smoke on my takeout food and I have actually witnessed many of the cooks and food service employees smoking out in the back of the restaurant when I was waiting for my curbside pickup order. That’s the other reason I don’t eat out is because of the unsanitary employees as well as the much higher cost to eat out.

RED LOBSTER: The last time I ate at Red Lobster, the long wait was just too much. Every time I ate there, the wait for a table was longer, and the last time it was just shy of two hours. If I'm not hungry, I am not going to a restaurant. If I am hungry, I am not going to wait hours just to get a table. I know several other who have said the don't go there for the same reason. If they are having trouble, maybe I'll go back, a the hours long wait might be a thing of the past.

The investment you choose isn't right or wrong, just depends on the kind of business person you are or simply the kind of person you are. However, the end game is investing money long term creates wealth every time. Just pick what you like and understand, invest and it will pay off. A lifetime of investing for 5 mil is not hard to accrue.

I agree. Based on firsthand encounter with one ‘’Linda Sue Baier’’ now i have 550k in a well diversified portfolio which has grown by 3x in the past 5 months with compounding, venturing doesn’t necessarily boil down to money but you also have to be informed, be patient and back it up with the help of a good Fin. Linda covers things like investment, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, Go over tax advantages , ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk. many things like that . Just glance her full name up on the internet .she's well known and has quite a following. So it shouldn't be a hassle finding her.

Most of these restaurants they mentioned just aren't that good anymore. Red Lobster, Crapplebees, Outback Steakhouse, etc have all gone downhill in quality. Customer service at restaurant locations and at corporate offices have fallen flat. Price is one thing but when the food is subpar and the service is garbage, I won't waste a single penny there. The 90s were definitely the pinnacle of indoor dining. The food was awesome and I have many great memories of eating at these establishments with family and/or friends (Old Country Buffet being one of many of them).
