actually sounds like a solid idea. i think if you give her like fav greatsword + 50% cr (to proc it) + 300% er + noblesse she would probably give loads of energy + noblesse + heal a bit. sounds like a solid support (admittedly not the easiest build to throw together)
Dori is kinddd of underrated,she's fun to play but the way you built her is just,hats off to your patience
Honestly, Dori's main problem is the fact that she relies way too much on her C6 in order to be good, and by the time you reach there, you probably ditch her for Kuki.
If that was a part of her initial kit, maybe she would be better.

What I admire about Doro is that he tried to help Dori reincarnate into a stronger character, at least it was successful in a temporary way :)
Dori is the most underrated character in the game as she is a healing/battery driver for furina yelan kazuha. This team alone outperforms most 5 star dps teams at c0 in single target, including strong teams like aggravate and hyperbloom. This is because it’s essentially a slightly worse version of koko mono hydro which is a strong single target team on its own. Although Dori herself isn’t doing dmg the healing and battery allows u to build furina and yelan for higher dps along with kazuha not needing er in this team

for those curious, C6 Dori44 is actually not bad in a Furina quickbloom team (Furina, Dori, Nahida, Fischl). She also needs to be level 90 cause your aggravate & hyperbloom damage increases significantly by doing so. 4pc Thundering Fury is her BiS, Full EM is better mainly cause Dori44's multipliers is just not that good, but you can also build crit.
With furina, you can take advantage of Dori44's team wide heals at C6, and with her Passive and 4pc TF, you can actually achieve almost 100% uptime with her infusion. Without C6, she's as bad as everyone says her to be unfortunately, she's only "good" at C6.
Every 4 star seems to be dependant on C6 in genshin apparently. Heck i even fullstared spiral by using amber as support with her C6.
@@MiekuahProductionsthere are exceptions like the 1.0 ones, Yao Yao, Chevy or Kuki. Some of them do get very significant upgrades at c6 or other cons like Chevy, xianling or xinqiu; but they are still good at c0 or can get them for free in the shop. It is sad that there are other 4 stars that need c6 to be good or even viable
@@iker9095 the 4*s you mentioned in former three are healers. It's the sub dps/dps support that needs c4-c6 to make it fully viable in endgame content.

I actually have Dori as off field Electro support and she's lots of fun to use, people just say she sucks cause they already have fully built characters and are too lazy to build every character in the game.
Just use a mod on her and things change completely.

I have them all at lvl 70 or more and they all have optimal artifacts (as in the proper set with the correct main stat for Manual Auto Equip to recognize it), I'm getting their talents lvl'd up before I start farming for lvl 90 on all characters, then I go for triple crowning my faves (and all forms of the traveler too cause he's the main character)
And finally I get more perfect artifacts for those that don't have 5 star artifacts lol.
May I add, the only reason I'm doing this is cause I already have 100% of quests, chest and other collectables obtained so there's nothing better to do lol.
Tbh I think they say she sucks because they like Kaveh and think she scammed him into being broke (I say this as some who likes Kaveh)

Ok, i know it's a meme at this point, but to be real with you. After using her in imaginary theatre. She is actually a good healer/battery. I think people hate her because "No dps, No Character" type of thing. Dori is legit the most overhated, the most underrated character out there.
I don't think she is hated because of that, but rather how heavily outclassed she is. The same situation as Sigewinne.

Hate is too subjective, i think people don't find c0 4 star worth it to build, i heard that long time ago like dori vs kuki situation all over again.
I also think shes hated because shes simply a shit character story wise. Makes her unappealing to build.
Razor has been far outclassed but I still run him for fun (AR 60) simply because hes a really enganing character.

As someone who loves Dori and has triple crowned her, I absolutely have a blast playing her.
What I love about Dori is her role consolidation. She's a dps, a healer and battery all in one. She applies, at C6, fifteen instances of electro in just one rotation. Which is a hell of a lot. She also has abnormally high multipliers on her basic attack, so high in fact that they are higher then most dps's in the game.
Like, yeah, her overall damage isn't going to win any awards but when you literally do everything...but that opens up your team to have another off field dps slot.
I personally run Nahida, Dori, Sucrose, Beidou. With the damage reduction from Beidou and Dori's already, again abnormally, high defence stat she can just sit there and tank hit after hit while healing the entire team to full. It's been great with bosses like Coppellius, where you can just sit in it's attacks and just keep wailing on it without fear of death.
Glad at least by the end you figured out that Thundering Fury is her best set...really it's her only set, as nothing even comes close in making her feel like a complete character then TF.
If you ever revisit Dori, and I think you should, you should do a Quickbloom team (her best) with Furina as Dori's team wide healing pairs perfectly with her.

i know this is late, but c6 dori specifically is good for 1 team and 1 team only. dori nahida furina fischl. since you can on field a healer + hyperbloom enabler on 1 unit. in this team, on field dori can out heal furina's hp drain. Not only that, there's also another requirement needed in this team. And that is Thundering Fury dori is a MUST for 100% electro app for hyperbloom. I honestly dont remember if you build dori hybrid (like cyno quickbloom, partial EM partial crit) or full EM. But in simple terms, furina gives dmg% to herself and fischl for massive dmg, dori can out heal furina's hp drain so her fanfare stack always generates, dori NA can proc fischl A4 and boom you have a team ready to obliterate abyss
i think its full EM build. So furina and fischl will do massive talent dmg and dori can hyperbloom

Your reaction to finding out you have to give Dori the love she doesn’t deserve is how I would’ve reacted. The reason I hate her is because of her character and lore; and don’t get me started on her shady business practices. Layla’s voice line about her is a perfect example of this; expanded upon with Layla’s least favorite food voice line. (Both are unlocked at friendship level 4.) Dori almost took advantage of Collei’s thirst to scam her into wasting all of her money on a single drink. Thankfully Tighnari was there to save the day. It’s from Collei’s about Dori voice line.

Dori has a decent job position in the team with Eula, Mika, Furina. She heals and helps to reduce the resistance of the enemy according some streamer’s finding.
Dori is literally so underrated and overhated, she will be forever one of my fav characters in genshin 😭❤️ the moment i got her I literally fell inlove w her design, lore and gameplay

I use my Dori with Tighnari, Yae, and Nahida. Unironically one of my most energy efficient teams.

Quick note: Look up their total of resources full count before gathering. It's save time leveling up in one go instead level up and go back gather around again.

I use Dori, mostly as a support because my good claymores are being used, and I'm happy with her Electro application and heals, C6 as well, but I won't ever let her main DPS anything, that's why I have Alhaitham for. GG

I actually decided recently to build my Mika. I have everything I need to make him viable, I just wasn't using cryo because it needs help

Imo Dori + Nahida + Fischl + Fischl is legit fun and strong. Tbf the other 3 chars are some of the strongest support/sub-dps. But Dori's role to consolidate healer and electro applicator and some damage works damn well

Her C6 is actually part of my current favorite team. She needs Thundering Fury to accelerate the Skill, and Fishcl, as your purpose is to continuously trigger her passive smite. She requires investment in all her skills, though. The Aggravate team is Tighnari, DMC, Fischl, Dori.
Dori is the only Sumeru healer so I got her to Friendship lvl 10 by using her as the default healer in all my parties instead of Kuki. Using her Electro attacks to trigger hyperbloom or other reactions is not too comfortable, but if I ever get her C6, now I know (thanks to you, Doro) that it can work with an EM Gilded/ DPS Thundering Fury build(s)
i honestly might steal this idea, i wanna utilize dendro traveler (cause i kin her, dendro lumine my beloved) but instead of dori ive been dying to get razor!

Dori has the monster materials i hate the most to farm, those flying jellyfish.
Not only they are few in numbers, they take their time a bit longer to disappear and they net the worst number of drop materials
Dori is absolutely a cracked healer. Built even halfway well she easily out heals most other healers. Add in energy battery 👌. My Dori heals for 13k a tick from her lamp, my Kokomi and Furina can't come close to her healing numbers. Granted Furina has 100% healing uptime, and Kokomi has great hydro application. For raw healing though Dori is heavily underrated.

dori may not do as much dmg as other electro dps, but she does alot for being a healer and there is enough electro and dendro characters that want to swap to contribute with their skill and burst aswell which works very well with quicken teams, she is bad if you try to make main dps teams but she is at home in teams that can switch alot
i havnt built her yet since i was waiting for C6, but im aware that she does a lot of electro application. like a lot and gives fischl a tone of her A4 procs.

You know what? I always thought Dori's kit was like another Fischl but maybe worse, but since everyone always said she was bad I never built her. But after this video, I might give her a try
This initial version of Dori (The sole Electro in Hyperbloom with Gilded) requires ER. Perhaps Fav Claymore? She also should not remain off field, and rely on her connection.
You could also try the rare Jean Electro Swirl, as Dori's Burst gives an elemental aura like Bennet. This can be used to trigger hyperblooms.
Dori can be viable as a dps but driver role is the best and her best team is probably quickbloom with Furina Fischl Baizhu, Dori's damage is mid but don't underestimate her, her electro app is surprisingly good at C6 and she also heals better than Kokomi even at C0. Either way I always liked C6 Dori but I rarely saw people building her/talking good about her so seeing a good content creator build her and show people how she works actually made me a bit happy 😆
