What region in Australia did you apply? I am currently in Melbourne and I am studying a Masters of Social work
The state doesn't even matter in my opinion. The course is generally a good option in Australia no matter the state or territory

Every graduate get 2 to 4 yeara visa after your program. You can get that visa
