- Sorry for the crappy editing and also the butchered pronunciations, I'm dyslexic and also ESL :^) and this was made very in the moment but I really wanted to talk about the return of Exos Heroes albeit in the NFT game.

I miss Exos Heroes 🫠 the artistic aspect of the game was the thing that I loved the most, i didn’t even cared about S5 updates, haven’t played any mobile game since. I hope they release a new game 🫶🏼

My question is is the memory lane version of exos gonna be all nft shit or is it gonna be like non nft and the only nft part is the desperate do pvp part
From my understanding, Memory Lane seems to be a complete re-implement of post S5 Exos, including the gacha using Xes and not any form of NFTs. Their next update seems to be adding the daily free gacha pull we had before. I see Memory Lane as completely separate from Desperado and the NFTs now but it’s still the fact that we need to download Desperado to access it AND they are still slowly adding everything back to Memory Lane so we have to wait anyway.
@@weebstella ok tbh thats a w in my book sad it isnt old school exos but this is good enough for me its good enough for nostalgia purposes and atleast the nft shit isnt involved with the memory lane mode
@@gta5lorecarreviews36 That’s pretty much the same with me. I didn’t like post S5 Exos and I know many people don’t like the NFT stuff but I’m willing to explore the Memory Lane updates just for nostalgia because I did still love Exos at the end of the day.

I hate this so much, considering what ultimately put the nail in the coffin for Exos Heroes wasn't the update, it was the plans to implement nft's, so this feels like a double slap in the face to me.

I can safely say the S5 update was a huge reason the game died considering several players including my entire guild quit the game after that. Desperate-do was definitely another nail in the coffin cuz obvs NFTs are controversial asf but I feel like that was planned due to the fact they knew the game was dying after the S5 update happened.
@@weebstella Oh I'm not saying the update wasn't a huge part in it for sure, but it truly was the NFT plans that put that final nail in coffin, that just completely annihilated any goodwill the community had left for the game.
If it was just the update on it's lonesome I truly believe more people would have stuck it out until the end
@@Jo_youwhatmate I honestly think they’ve just made questionable decisions out of desperation after the massive downfall in playerbase from the S5 update. Obvs you already know they sold Exos as an NFT into Desperado, but they also started a new game project called 4Ground9 around the same time and it’s a game that’s using AI art trained off the original Exos’ artist.
So shortly after S5 came out, they go into both NFTs AND AI art lol. It’s crazy what they resorted to after thinking completely changing their game was a good idea.

I doubt they even have anyone's old accounts anymore, so you would be starting over.

Wish I stumbled upon your video weeks ago. I've been obsessed with this after I saw someone mention it on Reddit. I've been posting my own videos as a complete replay of the story and features as I unlock them. Quite a lot has been re-added in the past weeks. I was hoping for a Steam/Console premium version for $20-30 instead but I'll take this for now.

genuine question, if the update changed the game for all was it not worth relearning to try and see the vision they put forth? was there previous balance issues? like, what was going on?
@@Kaosbreakercloud There were definitely some that liked the update but majority of us didn’t.
The reason it affected veterans hard is because we were not given nearly enough resource compensation to transition our units into the new gear system, and our old gear was practically useless so we couldn’t sit on those.
Almost every unit was completely changed in terms of kit which made several units now useless, which in turn affects anyone who invested in those units. The original Exos was notable for its unique character kits which made team-building and combat super fun, that joy was completely stripped in the new update that removed most characters passives and slapped them onto artifacts that we now had to pull for with summon currency.
I genuinely did try to learn and get into this new direction of Exos but in all honesty, most of us didn’t download Exos to play an Epic Seven 2, not even accounting for the fact that everything we worked for was basically stripped away (this update happened years into the game).
If you’re asking why the devs did this, the director complained that the characters were “too complex” and I think along the lines of that it made designing future characters too difficult, but that was what the players loved about the old Exos.

Is the whole storyline going to be added in? id like to at least finish the game after dropping it back then

It looks like Desperado recently added up to Chapter 6 of story so I'd say so yes. Same here though, I'll probably mainly play just to see the whole story through at least.
