  • So, as you know, GoPro has increased its action camera lineup with GoPro Hero 11, which is almost identical to the previous model except in some cases, yet it will cost you 500 bucks. On the other hand, we have Akaso Brave 8, which is also an excellent action camera considering its price range. Now the big question is, is it actually worth spending more than 200 bucks for GoPro Hero 11 or Akaso Brave 8 will just do the job for you? Let’s see you by comparing them!

      I thought this too. its an advert for go pro. why wouldn't they show the same footage? prob cos there not 200 dollars difference

      I think it is sponsored too... I`m seeing this kind of reviews all over the CZcams where they are talking about Brave 8 or 7 and constantly recording directly into the sun or not recording same footage when comparing so that Brave looks worse in every aspect. Also, not enabling stabilization or talking about extra mounts and accessories that come with Brave... And what about overheating of every GoPro model after only 20 minutes of recording...

    Just bought the Brave 7 LE,I also ordered the Hero 11,have it this week I hope, the LE is a good camera, good build quality & Im very satisfied with it,the Brave 8 price is too close to a Gopro at around 250 where u can get a G10 or 11 depending on ur research

      @Daniel Rodrigues actually I returned the Also for the X3. Greatest decision ever made! Way worth the cost. The quality the colors the ez studio usage. Invisible selfie stick and backpack stick. Yup most def recommend the X3 even better than my GoPro!

    How much did GoPro Hero pay you to make this bias video in favor of their product ??? even your words is bias and then you do not make a comparison where the two action cameras was mounted on the same platform, instead you take Brave 8 over a veld with a lot of bumps to make Brave 8 look like a poor performer. Just skip this bias video and go look at honest review

    • @camerazone_
      @camerazone_  Před rokem

      Believe it or not, we weren't paid by the GoPro. Akaso Brave 8 is pretty good, considering the price point, but in head-to-head with Hero 11, it falls short.

      Such as what u can't say it full short then don't tell u just want go pro to come top class when it isn't.. MAYBE UR WTONG COS AKASO PUT GO PTO TO SHAME

    sounds like you are sponsored by Go Pro....? not really a fair comparison as the go pro is 200 dollars more.
    Have you taken into consideration the fact theat a go pro will not last very long? in 12 cameras I don't know one person with a go pro that hasn't had a problem with it!!

    Does that AKASO come with a wrist remote control or is the AKASO Brave 4 Pro the only one that does?

      @@camerazone_ One other thing maybe you could help me with. Lol, maybe two. I would be using a cam to record a rather fast animal in our home (stability?) to start my first channel. Do you think the AKASO Brave 8 would be a good beginner unit? Also, not having a smart phone, is there another means of getting the unit up and running? I appreciate your time.

    They incorrect u don't have to connect Ur brave 8 ur fone at all in which I have and find it better..and I fine akaso camera better than go pro . Onces u bought a go pro camera u then have to subscription to there website and subscribe where there take money off u money that's is out of order.. that's why I went off go pro wh n I heard about that's and cancel the camera before Amazon and instead went with AKaso I have brave 4 pro and brave 7le both are great cameras and there stabilisers is absolutely awesome...

    Good joke of a video, let me start with this.
    I own 2 Brave 7 and 1 Brave 7 LE previous to this i own 2 Go Pro 9 and 1 go pro 11 that i own for 1 year, all cameras where bought new from amazon at the same time the go pro at least.
    I make circuit car racing on my country so having a camera on board as well of 2 pointing front and back is a must, obviously its on open sun for long periods of time. So when i star using the Go pros everything went well at least for 2 months, but after i will start to have freezing cameras, footage corrupted and turn of cameras do to overheating. I started to think that the heat of the car as well of sun of the events was to much so i start to even freeze the cameras on a cooler to try to get at least footage of the first 15 mins of the race after a while i start reading and was told that this is a issue that GO PRO HAS NOT SOLVED THAT DATE BACK TO THE GO PRO HERO 4. WTF!
    I pass to the Akaso cameras and no issue, they are still working, they discharge faster on the heat for sure but they work. RELIABLE AS HELL. I don't know what the author of the video make here but the stabilization is very good on a racing car way batter what it was presented here.
    FOR SURE video quality is not the same, but for me having video the best video quality does not mean shit if the camera can not stay on or corrupts everything. so i will take the AKASO any day over a go pro.
