Ok! So, if I ever happen to be in the middle of nowhere, lacking drinking water, thirsty near death, and therefore intending to drink from a muddy puddle, since it'd be my one and only option in sight to save my life, I think the sock, grass and sand should not indeed be a problem to get hold of, but where the fuck would I get the bloody charcoal from? :-D It doesn't grow on trees, if I'm not mistaken? Really a "good" tip to save one's life in the wild.
