In the video we explain some of the differences between the two machines. These include...
    How do they froth milk?
How easy are they to clean?
Which coffee machine makes a hotter coffee?
    Which machine has more settings?
Can you adjust the froth, heat and coffee volume setting on both?
    Do they do latte art?
How much water do they hold?
We make a cappuccino on both machines, do a heat test and give our personal opinion on the taste of each coffee and which is best. We also ask whether they are worth the money?
Both machines also have a flat white, latte and latte macchiato setting. Both coffee machines also feature a ristretto, espresso and lungo button.
So, if you are looking at buying the Gran Lattissima or Creatista Plus but struggling to decide which is better for you, then hopefully this video will help you to choose which coffee machine to buy.

Great job, again as usual. Enjoy the Creatista Plus. Not sure if you remember or not, but I advised in an earlier comment about my friends owning a Gran Lattissima. Soon after I purchased the Creatista Plus, they stated they preferred the taste and overall control of this machine. They then went and purchased one for themselves. Now we both get the same great taste whether we are at their place or they come to ours. That being said, we recently ventured into the world of SuperAuto's and purchased a Gaggia Cardona Prestige. A bean to cup machine. Freshly ground beans takes espresso to a whole other level. I'm just sayin...............lol.

As you can probably tell I'm really impressed with the plus so far, looking forward to using it more and hopefully comparing it to the pro soon! Enjoy your bean to cup, one for the future for me I think.

Hi - we have the Creatista Plus (good deal with John Lewis at £299) and my only criticism would be the milk jug markings - these are quite difficult to see on the inside - I wonder what other people think? - other than that, this is a terrific machine!

Yes I spotted that deal online and it's a great price but checked back the other day and said out of stock 😭 I sold mine after getting the Creatista Pro but still miss it and sometimes think about getting one again for other comparison videos. Great to hear you're happy with the machine as really did rate it 👍 Hot coffee and silky milk.

These lattissima machines all have the same inherent issue which is Luke warm coffee when using the auto frother. I’ve had the lattissima+ and had exactly the same issue where coffee with the auto frother was never above 55c which is at least 10c cooler than you would expect any milk based coffee to be served at.
My machine was sent back to nespresso for inspection and came back with a new thermostat fitted but still had the same issue.
I now have a delonghi bean to cup with auto frother and although it’s still a little cool than I’d like it but it serves coffee at 65c-70c depending on the size of coffee and if it’s the first drink of the day or not. My only issue now is that the auto frother systems are a pain to clean.
I’ve been looking to moving back to a Nespresso due to ease of use and convenience but would only do it I’f I could get a creatista for a decent price on a good offer.

Does the latissima really take 25 seconds to heat up each time? or is it the second cup you make it's a lot faster? Also it seems a bit comical making a machine that heats up in 3 seconds but then you gotta warm up your coffee and milk one at a time, still takes over a minute to make a cup.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  Před 3 lety +1

I've found it does heat up quicker if you've used the Lattissima fairly recently. Know what you mean about the Creatista Plus too, but then the Lattissimas do the milk and coffee seperately also I guess. We have a couple of videos on the channel where we make 2 cappuccinos in a row with the Gran Lattissima and also the Creatista Pro and the Creatista Pro having dual boilers increases the speed quite a bit.

I had the gran latissima for the same reason as you lol, until i had to send it back to d' longi to be repaired. The frother doesn't work well. Warm milk comes out, without any froth. I thought it was just me, but after reading the reviews it's become clear that many people experience the same problem, besides the coffee is not hot enough. The gran latissima unfortunately is a waste of money. I had the gran latisimma for only 3 months, it was brand new, poor quality.
