    This video explains everything better than the other video I watched. But one thing that showed up in mine is it said “Call for Service” under the room temperature number. Only got it when the ac had been running. After charging the awful disgusting filter, it hasn’t shown up. Recently moved into an apartment and I take it they never changed the filter. I’ve been fixing things since moving in bc of neglect. Most disgusting thing was the drainage in the tub. 🤢

    • @How2
      @How2  Před rokem +1

      Hello,
      Call for service can ne multiple reasons -
      1. Filter being very dirty and blocking the regular functionality
      2. When A/C or Cooling system not working properly or not available.
      3. Wrong wiring connections.
      So n your case, it was filter and once it was replaced the sign went away.

    What does it mean when the thermostat say auxiliary under heat

    • @How2
      @How2  Před rokem

      Hello,
      Auxiliary Heat is typically an electric resistive heater used in Heat Pumps. The auxiliary is energized when the Heat Pump is not keeping up with the thermostat setting and the demand for heating of the occupied space. It is normal operation with most pumps for the thermostat to call for auxiliary heat.
