But we created 2 more NEED positions by letting these productive Vets walk....We saw our run D without Hankins vs Buffalo, he only signed for 2 mill in Seattle..

Far be it from me to defend the Cowboys’ negotiating tactics but they do end up paying their young stars almost invariably. Jerry might make noises to the contrary but he’s a big softie at heart. Dak and Ceedee are getting the bag.

Falcons have defense. They dont have edge rush, but their overall defense last year was fine. Especially prior to the Jarrett injury. And Raheem is good at developing edge rushers. The fact is, they have role playing edge but are missing that dawg. But i think they really bolster the defense this year.

The problem is reaching for a need this year, and then reach next year… When you can avoid reaching? If you have player 14 as a WR and player 30 a RT who you put at LT sitting at 24… If you can’t trade back who do you take?
