I was just noticing all the big blessings outside on the grounds these donations I I know that all these donations and taking a lot of energy to get there don’t you think it be a great idea almost makes sense to put everything under a roof to protect it from the coming rain, we have to keep the horse in front of the cart in order to maintain quality usage of all these items . Much if not most of the reason fire was able to spread so quickly on Maui is because so much of the vegetation on the island has been intentionally converted to highly flammable non-native grass over the years by powerful cattle ranchers. It would be great if at the beginning of each presser, the woman (press secretary?) would say the date of the presser, and perhaps between every couple of speakers say something like "for those who are just joining in, this date is xxxxxxx . Most of us watch these pressers on youtube and the dates posted are not correct and keep watching the same ones over and over ... thank you and hope that those in charge of these pressers actually see this comment ...
Why was Maui County not ready for this disaster when Lahaina always get fires?
This was no regular fire...why are cars incinerated, melted and trees were not burned. How did boats in the ocean burn and when they showed the fire from air its a perfect round circle around Maui. Very very suspicious

So why weren’t huge water tanks built on your watch containing a continuous supply of available ocean water for firefighters in an emergency!! Why not place sheep on the mountain grasslands to keep it trimmed? Why not build escape roads for this community? Knowing that every year this area has wildfires, it seems reasonable that it’s policy change not climate change Governor, Mayor.

I was just noticing all the big blessings outside on the grounds these donations I I know that all these donations and taking a lot of energy to get there don’t you think it be a great idea almost makes sense to put everything under a roof to protect it from the coming rain, we have to keep the horse in front of the cart in order to maintain quality usage of all these items . So far it looks like what the media is showing cart in front of the horse that’s gonna be short-lived we need more supervision and and insight of the months to come so we can keep up with the IT needs.

Much if not most of the reason fire was able to spread so quickly on Maui is because so much of the vegetation on the island has been intentionally converted to highly flammable non-native grass over the years by powerful cattle ranchers. Nobody will talk about this because cowboys and ranchers are sacrosanct in this country.

and if it's that bad for him, personally,, he should let someone down the chain of command stand in for him because that display, his lack of self-control, including the way he decided the reporter -who, YES, was trying to do too much - it was truly over the top to accuse that reporter [even if they have history], over the top for hum to becso controlling that Josh decided to pretend he knew reporter guy would knowingly be stepping in dead bodies if he got more access.

and it's all too much, I get that. our fires in our area were beyond devastating, also. but if a governor and a police chief can't keep their egos out of their PUBLIC appearances, then they should find someone else to rep them who can.
because, otherwise, they just add to the energy of displacement & chaos and they will NOT be trusted by their community, by their very affected, suffering public..including the children who witnessed their inappropriate behavior, many of which will be the future voters of Maui/Hawaii.
