- Christian Keyes, the creator of “All the Queen’s Men”, joins “Start Your Day” to talk about the new season of the show.
Based on Keyes’ book “Ladies Night”, the creator talks about how he was able to keep the show authentic to the story told in the book. Keyes says during the pandemic, he spent six or eight months writing and rewriting the first few episodes. Also, the development team at Tyler Perry Studios would give Keyes specific notes. Although it was a bit tedious, the process is what helped cultivate the stories.
Keyes wrote the entire season of the show, which proved to be a tough task but it was done. Keyes hopes that this will inspire more Black talent in the future to write a show or book.

I wonder why he didn’t created for season 2. I get it though he said it was a lot of work to write the scripts.

Yes Tyler bought the show from CK and had CK write the 1st season so that can keep getting paid residuals.

I am enjoying the Concierge character ..... And "Yes" Christian Keyes appears to be a great 'role model' for the brother as he spends time with his son. I have always enjoyed Denzel Washington in every movie he acted in, however, Christian Keyes is replacing my number 1 actor. Especially knowing he is from the "D" ...yeah I know Flint too, lol. Exactly!!! This show is down right a disappointed. Christian Keyes get mad when people give their opinion (if it's negative to him but yet the truth) and is removing the comments about the truth of the show which is about gay men getting f**" in the ass, nakedness, black women getting fu***, with everything out (nude). This is pornhub..... That's be real. Horrible acting, producing and directing. The book was ALOT more tasteful. Stop making these reviews look like this show is bomb, it's not!!! It once again portrays blacks in a disgusting light!!! Period... And I don't give a damn about him blocking me!
