I would like to see a demo of your computer setworks I've watched demo videos on your channel but have never seen the workings of the setworks . I have an older accu-trac and would like to put new setworks on it. Thanks for the informative videos.
Thanks Robert, you set the tracking spinning wheels by hand. When full rpm mine walks out about an 1/8”. Is difficult finding a happy medium so at idle it isn’t rubbing flange on roller guides, yet at full rpm isn’t too far out on them. I figure is better to touch guides at idle no sawing pressure than risk blade rise in cut if running out too far on guides. Thoughts? Hope isn’t too confusing of a question

All very interesting and well-explained, Robert. It looks like you are using the same tension adjustment as the 1-1/4 blade? Seems like it should be higher tension? Looking forward to the upcoming video discussing pros and cons of changing to 1-1/2" width. My HD3238 continues to break 1-1/4" blades pre-maturely and switching to 1-1/2" looks like it's worth a try, but I'll wait for your next video.
I would recommend sending Robert and email (robert@cookssaw.com) or giving him a call if you think you're having premature blade breakage. You will need to fix this issue before considering moving to wider blade and possibly having the same, but now more costly issue.
Robert I'm sure going to a 1"1/2 blade ,then you will need to change your sawcat sharpener adjustment also. Can you do a video on that? Also can you explain the different from one blade size to another. For performance.
In short yes. Keep in mind an 1-1/4" blade can handle quit a bit of horsepower and feed speed so before making the switch consider if you're currently pushing the blade beyond its capabilities. We plan to make another video soon covering the pros and cons of going up in blade width.
Sounds like you will be doing a video on why you make this change, hoping there was a short answer on that though.
