    The dragon breathing fire in the giant goron's eyes is this series' telling of the reason why the giant goron needs eyedrops.

  • @g.masterlordoftheg-force4770

    Honestly, it makes sense that the Megaton Hammer just fell through everything.
    A megaton is a million tons. It’s ridiculous how Link can even lift it without the Silver or Golden Gauntlets.

    6:00 The Giant's Knife. It constantly breaks unless you finish the questline to reforge it into the Biggoron Sword. Then it's more powerful than the Master Sword.

    I'm excited for how Dark Link is implemented, or in this case, Evil Pepto Bismol.

    your thinking of the giants knife that breaks after a few hits but you can also get the biggoron sword that’s indestructible

      Double damage but you can't block.
      I say it's worth it.

      @@patientnr.0409 especially if you know the jump slash crouch stab trick. The crouch stab (shield button then B) can be used pretty fast but the way they coded it it does the same damage as your last attack. Jump slashes (lock on then A) do double damage so if you do that the sword will actually do quadruple the damage of the regular master sword attack and use it pretty quickly. It shreds through bosses.

    There are 2 versions of the big sword, the Goron knife (which is cheap, and breaks in a few hits, but only costs 200 rupees) and the Biggoron sword (which is permanent, but costs a lengthy trading quest that does have timed portions, and you can't warp during those portions)

  • @Notashi0

    I believe at the spot you guys are talking about a special sword I think you're thinking of the Biggoron sword. It's essentially a big two-handed sword Link can get by completing a trading series. It does like double damage and has better range, though you are left somewhat defenseless.

    @chriskoloski32 Před rokem +6

    So, the crappy sword youre thinking of is the giants knife, which breaks after like two uses. If you want the biggoron sword, the non crappy version. You have to do a long trading side quest

    At 4:13 this is actually a small cut portion of the Fire Temple's original theme. In the first version of Oot that Nintendo released on the N64, v1.0, the Fire Temple originally had a Muslim prayer/chant. No one at Nintendo really gave the chants much thought, but eventually they realized what it was and went on to call back as many copies of v1.0 as they could and re-released the game with the chants removed. No one filed a complaint, it was a preemptive measure Nintendo took to avoid public controversy.

      Also for the first few versions, there use to be a crescent moon with a star being used as the symbol for the Gerudo and for the mirror shield, but it also appeared in other parts of the game such as the Forest Temple and Great Deku Tree, mostly on blocks that you had to move. It stayed until later versions were released, removing anything that Nintendo considered to be of Muslim origin, again to avoid controversy. Although the crescent moon and star symbol wasn't necessarily an actual Muslim symbol, but it was removed for looking too similar to a symbol that used a crescent moon in Muslim culture and nations.

      They also changed Ganon coughing up blood to him vomiting. Don't know why they bothered when the left all the blood in other places like the torture rooms in shadow temple/bottom of the well

    • @jacobj3933
      @jacobj3933 Před 2 lety

      Looking back, in the N64 version, the Water Temple wasn't necessarily hard, it was just really really tedious to go through.

    • @futurehistoryarchaeologist4480
      @futurehistoryarchaeologist4480 Před 2 lety

      @@jacobj3933 it had three things that caused people to hate it. One was needing to switch iron boots in the menu, the second is that there wasn't much visual variety so it was easy to get lost, last there were a few things that were legitimately easy to miss like the key under the floating block in the mid level water room and the song of time block in the floor after dark link. The 3ds version fixed all of these so if someone has only played that one they might not see what the big deal was. If you fix those problems it really is more or less methodically checking each room as the water rises.

    There is a goron that gives you a crappy sword, and it breaks easily, but the more swords you buy from him the better quality the sword is until you get something special
