- So here we have a simple budget 3 channel lights system which can be used in almost any RC model. it's very well priced at only £12.99 of eBay UK. I installed one in a project for someone and I thought I'd get another and do a proper review.

Glad I revisited this. I've got 5 of them, and with no instructions, I'm glad as always that you like sorting these electronic gizmos! Big help.
They're going in my trailers, with a receiver, bound with the truck. 😊
I've got a few of them. Channel 3, if you fit it to Ch. 6 on your Receiver, you can toggle on and off your Headlights!
All in all, I found this cheap and cheerful. A nice budget upgrade!
Thanks for this, watching your video helped me get it connected very quickly. I went on to replace blue lights with red ones too.
very cool, I'll get them. Thank you

Teri,
I have installed the HOP-UP lighting kit on my truck and I too am using the Spektrum DX8 gen2 Tx. The issuer I am having, is that the turn signals only operate when the “steering stick” is moved nearly 75% of its full left or right full throw. I also have the problem that the brake lights only come on when the “motion stick” is 75% in reverse and not when the stick is in the neutral position. I am using the Spektrum FIRMA 70A Brushed Smart ESC, and I am wondering if one of the several ESC programing options may be the issue. I appreciate any input you may have. Tom Garing
That's how the light kit works, there's nothing you can do about how it operates, it's just a cheap light unit... Cheap is not good, and Good is not cheap.
I could not figure what lights go into which channels
there are markings on the side of the light unit but it's trial and error.
It is compatible for 2s lipo rc (7.2v)
yes... I'm running one of these light kits in a Van that has a 4200Mah 2S 7.4v Lipo
