It’s weird to see guys like Nate or MatPat who I’ve watched since I was a child stepping away from their content. I’m happy for them but it’s hard to say goodbye to something or someone that was so integral to your childhood.

As someone who also creates art I totally get the shift of a mindset being all you need. Like if you have an obligation to draw something it all feels like you dont wanna do it but take that away and you go back to doing it and loving it. The action itself isnt what needs a break in particular, its the obligation to it.

Your channel is what actually introduced me to anime English covers, I remember being blown away in middle school when I first listened to your cover of Snow Fairy. Well most of my time with this channel was spent back when you were still making parodies in the olden times of 2012-14. Back when you sort of were allowed to. You really influenced my adolescence in a way that few people on the internet have. Dookie too. I was there for Nate&Dookie back in the day too. That channel probably influenced me as a person more than it probably should have, but I wouldn't change a thing. I am who I am, in part, because of you. I am really thankful for that. I still regularly go back to those old Nate&Dookje vids (if I can find them, the old ones are totally nearly lost media pls fix), because they live rent free in my head and have been for 10 years. Yeah. 10 Years.
So uh yeah. Thanks for helping me be who I am today. I turned out alright. Ish.
