2 cups of flour
1 cup vegetable oil
½ cup whole milk
8 whole eggs
Glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp Lemon zest
2 tbsp Lemon juice
3 tbsp Milk
In the mixer add eggs and beat them for 5 minutes. Add oil slowly to the eggs and beat them for 2 minutes longer. Add flour and milk, alternating them. Place cavacas in a pre- heated oven at 400 degrees. After 15 minutes lower the temperature to 350 degrees. Bake it for about 25- 40 minute
es or until golden. Remove them from the oven. Let them cool and drizzle glaze over.

2 xícaras de farinha

Esmalte
2 xícaras de açúcar em pó
2 colheres de sopa de raspas de limão
2 colheres de sopa de suco de limão
3 colheres de sopa de leite
Na batedeira adicione os ovos e bata por 5 minutos. Adicione o óleo aos ovos aos poucos e bata-os por mais 2 minutos. Adicione a farinha e o leite, alternando-os. Coloque as cavacas em um forno pré-aquecido a 400 graus. Após 15 minutos, abaixe a temperatura para 350 graus. Asse por cerca de 25-40 minutos ou até dourar. Retire-os do forno. Deixe esfriar e regue com esmalte.

My mother in law is here since 1950 their last name was Moniz and Medeiros. My father in law was from lomba de São Pedro like me. His parents home was across my house.
