    I really like these. It’s objective, no sensationalism, and I really learn quite a bit which helps me understand the games as they happen in real-time. Thanks for putting these together.

    Good call out on the late turnovers. They were the real difference. I felt that the composition of Purdue on the floor at that time was odd. These guys don't play together often. Also, while something about Wahl irks me, that man is always hustling. That steal was just an example.

      That’s true, there were a couple lineups that hadn’t played together the entire season

      Foul trouble had a lot to do with the composition on the floor. Edey getting the early foul and tech then Smith being in foul trouble really hurt.

    Boiler Nation needs to relax. Zach Edey didn't play half of the first half, The Badgers became the best three-point shooting team in the nation overnight, and Purdue's point guard is hurt. And they lose by one point? Please. As long as Smith comes back healthy, they will destroy the first two teams they face in the tournament. And yes, Lance Jones is a liability at point guard. He's a shooting guard, and that's where he needs to stay.

      Agreed. 16 turnovers and lost to a good team by 1 points in overtime. My concern is the poor play in not being able to put the game away. Missed free throws, untimely turnovers and fouls. Hit reset and get back to work. They will be fine.

    Hepburn was on because smith was hobbled. Painter’s defense is mind boggling

      @@FeedthePost no one else specifically. Just threw the entire team off IMO

      Question: Why does everyone seem to shoot better against Purdue? Is it, a) they are up more for the game or b)something about Purdue's defense that allows more open shots?

    • @tkamel18
      @tkamel18 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@jlfalwell3 both IMO. Plus we have weaker starting guards with the exception of Jones…Heide and Colvin are decent but are still learning the system since Painter is a slow teacher 😭Morton is too slow IMO…knows the team D rules but can’t be effective in it vs quicker guards (I’d rather have Colvin or Heide out there over Morton any day). Smith too small. Loyer too weak. Plus our 4s are kinda slow laterally too and Edey has to drop cause he’s very slow compared to most 5s

      We just don’t have that many athletes other than Jones Heide and Colvin on this team.

    Bummer that Purdue lost. Thirteen turnovers in the second half did it. Good breakdown of the game action, again. Forgive me for not being into it as much as usual. Purdue needs a win next Friday!

    Lance Jones needs to shape the f up. Can’t be screwing around with 0 assists while Braden is hurt.

      he averages 2 over the entire season and he has had 0 in the last three games...he is not a point guard.

    Joe...I appreciate you but don't make me watch this again.

    Joe, that end-of-regulation in-bound pass defense was just really poorly set-up. WHY was Edey on the ball and not camped under the basket to reject any drive? What’s your opinion?

    • @FeedthePost
      @FeedthePost  Před 4 měsíci

      I think the thought is to try and make the inbounds pass harder, but I’m surprised they didn’t bring in Berg/Furst to defend it

    • @jpsf37miller48
      @jpsf37miller48 Před 4 měsíci

      So the theory was there’s a better chance to win the game by disrupting the inbounds pass than forcing Wiscy to take a tightly-defended jump shot???? Seriously???? This is good in-game strategy? Give me a break. Total FU by Painter, IMHO.

    How many INTENTIONAL fouls were called of the 28 Wisconsin was whistled for?? Is the Wisconsin coach Gard and other coaches that have their players foul 25 - 30 times in a game good coaches or are they scumbags? Are the Big Ten referees in need of remedial refereeing? Should the INTENTIONAL fouls be a charge of ASSAULT??? Are the Referees aiding and abetting this activity by their inaction?
