Oven cleaner will remove the break dust. Easy Off Commercial works best. However it will damage the clear coat if left on too long. Use a soft bristle brush, brass, plastic or scotch bright, not steel. Follow up with warm soapy water, Dawn works great, and remember you’re cleaning brake dust so keep everything wet. And if you want to remove the clear coat, apply oven cleaner and let sit over night. It will definitely remove a good bit of the clear coat. The remaining bits can be removed with drill mounted brass wire wheels.

Hey,new viewer. I have watched a few of your videos, good job. I’m still curious about the trans stop leak you added a while back. Did that stuff work or did you give up on it. I search for a final video and couldn’t find one. Thanks.

I gave up on it where I’m leaking at is way to bad for the stop leak to do it’s job. It did feel like it helped the trans with shifting though!

will oven cleaner damage factory painted and polyed aluminum wheels?

I think it just depends on what type of finish they have. If they’re chrome or have a clear coat finish I’m not sure I would risk it, but a brushed or matte finish should be fine!

Hope you don’t have clearcoat on those rims… It’s gonna rip it right off… And destroy them… I know this from personal experience… You’re a fool if you try this…
