  • Mahadev Bateswar is a main presiding diety of Bateswar Temple. Bateshwar Temple is an 8th century temple near the Rushikulya rookery (of Olive Ridley turtles) and Humma village in Ganjam district of Odisha. There is a sea beach near the Bateswar temple. Bateswar Temple Situated about 8 kilometres from the NH16. Bateswar temple is of archaeological importance. Devanagari and Kutila scripts are in the inscriptions at the site of Bateswar. However, they cannot be read due to the poor clarity of these inscriptions dating to the 10th Century. Bateswar now a days is very famous for as a Beautiful picnic spot.
