Outside Woman Blues
"Outside Woman Blues" is a blues song originally recorded by Blind Joe Reynolds in 1929.[1] It is one of few known recordings made by Reynolds, who used "Woman Blues" in several song titles, including "Cold Woman Blues", "Goose Hill Woman Blues", and "Third Street Woman Blues".

What is most surprising is their very wide repertoire. They pay all their own recordings, all the Allman tunes and hundreds so other often obscure blues tunes from the Delta and more recent. Every time you see them it is different. And every tour has a new band setup.
They are SMOKIN' right now!!
For sure! Saw the 2 shows in Portland and I walked out both nights in a daze and haze of the greatness of this band😊
Not even Clapton and Doyle Bramhall can play this tight.
Love that Tele tone! Susan Tedeschi has really climbed the ladder to become one the great artists of our time.
She’s such a badass!
OMG, the man can play!
…and the woman. Susan was always very good but she’s REALLY good now. Everyone used to just wait for Derek’s solos but now look forward to Susan too.

Yes
Anybody know if Derek plays in standard tuning when not playing slide? Asking for a friend.
Always plays in open E Doesn’t change tuning for slide vs no slide
@@Chris-qy3dpI was afraid of that
I can see at the fingerings/and the notes that this is defenetely not an open tuning - but a regular std. tuning
Derek plays in open tuning.
@@JRriffin ...but not in this video - it is 100 % clear from the fingerings and the notes you hear that this a standard tuning
They pick great songs to do.
This song is originally by Blind Joe Reynolds and 'Born Under a Bad Sign' is originally by Albert King
Yikes you’re misinformed
huh these folks can play a bit
