I decided to challenge my friend across the sea, New Zealand, to pronounce long town names in Virginia. While putting my list together, i found your little town and in while trying to figure out how to say it myself, I fell in love with your little city by the sea! Love from Halifax, would love to visit someday
The old station was on Parramore Island. I was stationed there in the late 70's but the CG turned that over to the Nature Conservancy but was burned down by a lightning strike some years ago. The current CG station is in Downtown Wachapreague.

I have read that there is a Coast Guard Station there and watched a CZcams video about it.
