For those struggling to use the blend tool try and convert font to outline because it only worked for me this way not sure why. Maybe because my program is Adobe 2023

After the 2:05 mark you should have went into detail all the other tools you used to blend everything better. had to watch it in 0.25x speed to catch all the other tool that make the big difference's. Still amazing video.

Why are mine not blending when I click on them after doing specified steps?
You have to have the blend tool selected for this to work.
Had the same problem here. I found it after two days lol. First select your text then go to "Text" and click "Create outlines". After that u can use the blending tool I hope ;)
Its ctr+shift o to create outlines
Also you have to ctr copy then click on the image
Shift R to edit ai
when i try to use the blend tool at 1:05, it seems the blent tool cursor just clicks through the text and nothing ends up happening???

So you guys need to make three of the text and select all of it using "direct selection tool", after that go to "Type" and select "create outlines". You guys could move the words using the "direct selection tool" and move it to your liking. Once you're there click the "blend tool" and choose specified steps and enter any number you want and then click the words.

The part I can't understand is how you manage to do it without outlining the text first during the use of blend. I have to outline the text.
I wish I could do it whitout outline the text to change the wording.

to get any font free go to google and type the "font name + font github". So in this case it'll be Gotham Bold font github. I was able to download it from there :)

After I add text, change the color, and apply blend presets, it doesnt let me blend the letters together

right-click on the texts and then create outlines! It worked for me

After pasting it on photoshop, when i press on "Liquify", it says, "Operation cannot be completed". Why so? :(
whenever I copy and paste from illustrator to photoshop, do the blend in photoshop as instructed, and copy and paste the newer version back to illustrator. The logo I was working on becomes very pixelated and loses its quality. Is there any advice on this, am I doing something wrong?

When using the gradient map how did you change the text to white? Your map has a little bit of white at the very end of it but mine just goes from dark purple to orange, with no white

select all of your 3 texts then click on "type", "create outlines" (shift+cmd+O) then you can blend
If you bring it into photpshop is it no longer a vector?
Can you take your work you did in photoshop back into illustrator and it still be vector?
