    never used FFD really, but it's a great tool if you're working with references and need to make major form adjustments quickly. Will definitely use it in future, thanks! :)

    Nice trick with smooth.... I usually use sperihy deformer to get 'perfect' sphere. Well, maybe after smothing hexa sphere you can apply spheriphy.

    1:25 Why don’t you use spherify deformer after you subdivide the sphere?

    • @polygonpen
      @polygonpen  Před 3 lety

      Because it is not about just the shape, smoothing deformer makes each polygon have same size or closer to that, which will be important at later stages.

  • @cristiancaraballotorres1649

    How do you show the low poly mesh but preserving the curve smooth lines of the mesh?

    Also can you do rendering tutorials. I have been working on Vray and I really want to try Redshift or Octane. Even if you do a series on Patreon Ill be happy.

    • @polygonpen

      They are coming soon, I still haven't dicided yet to use which one, I am trying to get a GPU and use redshift or ocrtane

      @@talhazulqarnain2126 Forget Vray, they never care about C4D....... Both Octane and Redshift are ....better, developer take care about cinema peple. Also consider that Msxpn nuy Redshify, whicj mran 110% support.

    I am confused between octane and redshift for use in Render and Motion Effect.. what do you recommend for me.. I was previously working on vray in the 3dmax program

    • @polygonpen
      @polygonpen  Před 3 lety

      Octane is faster for getting realistic results, Redshift is more flexable, make your choice, but if you are a freelancer, I would choose Octane.

      @@polygonpen Thank you for your time.. I'm basically an architect, but I started a new job in the world of product design and motion graphic . At first I was confused about how to start and reach good results, but with your channel and your easy way of explaining, I found the program easy and helpful... Thank you for your time again and I wish you more success and followers... One latest question, what do you think about Arnold

    • @polygonpen
      @polygonpen  Před 3 lety

      Thanks great:), I still use Arnold, it is great for big production type of renderings, if you have a big render farm it is the ultimate render engine for me, but if you are a freelancer and have one computer I would go with GPU render engines, Arnold is really easy to use but render times are not that great.

    Hello Friend, I have one request. I am an architect and my firm also does furniture that are made in turkey. And they send me the 3d furniture models from there. Can you please do a small tutorial showing how to fix imported models from other software.

    • @polygonpen
      @polygonpen  Před 3 lety

      Oh great, what is your problem exactly, are you importing from CAD models.

    • @talhazulqarnain2126
      @talhazulqarnain2126 Před 3 lety

      @@polygonpen No I am importing Sketchup Models. And they Come all Janky and Broken. I tried many ways from your tutorials but Can not find a perfect fit

    • @polygonpen
      @polygonpen  Před 3 lety +1

      @@talhazulqarnain2126 Well sketch up models are CAD/nurbs mostly so you will always have problems, if you can export from Sketch up as STEP file, Cinema 4D has STEP importer tool, which has a lot of options to make your imported objects clear.
