    Good explanation sir. In comparison method, we can calculate Gaut using two antennas. By keeping reference antenna as transmitting antenna and apply Friis tx eq, we get Gaut = (Pr/(Pt Gt)) x (4 pi R/lamda)^2. Is there any drawbacks with this method.

      It can be measured in far field, distance between two antennas should not be placed in near field and reactive field regions.
      It can be anywhere in far field for gain measurement.
