His 1st thought was his own mortalitiy? The joker really messed up his head, I don't think he ever emerged from that dark place. We miss him.
if you heard of the type of torment he put himself through for the betterment of the film it is amazing... yet isn’t it due to the people whose in production (Hollywood/weird) someone high up wanted him(as well as many other actors/actresses) to do certain things to get himself into that “joker” mind set? It’s concerning that when the film is all done....No one in Hollywood seems to help them come out of that place they have been in before/during/after filming They the actors/actresses need to focus fully on coming back to the light after such a drastic film ..no one is here to aid them back. It’s truly heartbreaking.

I think he deeply loved Michelle, he was shattered by the split. It seems that he went through a lot because of this until his tragic death.
