Thank you for the illustration, it was very helpful, but pls, what if I don't want buttons in front of the dress, and I prefer a zipper at the back, how do I manipulate the style pls

It’s is possible to have that....
You can close the front and have your zip at the back

I came across your channel like now and you i just love what I saw, couldn't help but subscribe immediately. You seem to play a lot with drapes.a quick one please, can one actually make these drape styles with Ankara? Please will really appreciate to know what your take on Ankara for draping will it actually give what is supposed to be given, I will await your response and please thanks for responding to questions, keep up the good work 🎉
Yay!!!!🥰
Thanks so much for subscribing & thanks for the kind words.
Sincerely, I think drapes flows well with soft materials rather than the ones will solid textures, however, this doesn’t mean you cannot use other materials such as Ankara print, what it means is just that you might not get the same result.
I say you try both and see what result you would get💯
Let me know how it goes , ciao!😁😍
It’s very beautiful 🤩
I love the fabric too🥰
Thanks so much 🥰🥰🥰

I’m very glad to hear this! You will rock it like a Queen 😀
Very beautiful. Pls ma what is the width and length of the belt? I will appreciate if you reply quickly
Thank you 🥰
Length of the belt is twice the waist circumference
Width is 2.5” on fold (meaning I
Cut 3” on fold before stitching)
Just stumbled across ur page, please did u fold while cutting the pattern on the fabric
The Lower part doesn’t have side seam, I didn’t fold while cutting.
However the upper part is cut on fold.
I do hope this is helpful
This is beautiful ❤️
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful 😍
Thank you so much😍
Thank you for this video.
Please clarify if the additional sleeve length of 12” starts from the shoulder measurement of 71/2 inches or from the pattern edge. It was not shown in the video. Thank you.
Hello
Thanks for your feedback
The additional 12inches is for the sleeve
It's starts right after the shoulder measurement.
I hope this is helpful👍
Thank you 💕 so much
You are welcome
Thanks for watching
Nice teaching
Thank you so much
Well done, this is beautiful ma can I used one pattern paper and splash it into two then thone to each other
Yes you can , all you need is two sides joined together , then you go ahead and slash then spread.
Thank you 😍

Awesome, looking forward to seeing your recreation😍
It’s a light crepe material
❤❤❤❤ welldone. Can I use vintage materials?
@@etiakamercy4018 yes , you can
I'm curious, when you say trousers is it the same as yards or meters?
Thanks for your feedback
while a yard is 36" a trouser is 45"
This is very helpful, thank you. Can't wait to recreate this!❤️@@Ayothedressmaker
Pls can u use one slash and spread for both ? I mean when cutting out on the fabric
Yes please , you only need one pair to cut for both
How many yrd of crepe did you use
I used 2trousers
By yards is how many please.@@Ayothedressmaker
@@ChibuzoImmac you will need 3yards
Please ma'am where are you located
Kwara state, Nigeria
Hello Dear.. well done 👍🏼 but I want to ask you a question, please when when you are drafting the pattern won’t u add any side seam allowance or allowance for ease because I hv we seen that the hip area is not fitted but a bit lose?
Hello
Thanks for watching
Yes, I didn’t add any allowance while drafting, I added allowance on the fabrics directly. Remember, the dress doesn’t have a side seam.
However, you can still add ease allowance while drafting if you want a comfy fit, but Seam allowance will be added after spread and slash. This is majorly because the dress does not have side seam (no joining at the side)
I do hope this was helpful
❤Ayo
Thank you ma pls ma how msny yards will be enough for plus size
Here, I used two trousers of fabrics for size 12
For a plus size you can use 3-4trousers (4 to 5yards)
I just subscribe now, you're good ❤🎉😊
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
