- This was released on the soundtrack to the either love it or hate it movie Suburbia (figure out which U is supposed to be in caps on your own...) From my understanding, and the sy.com/mustang site can give more clarification, this is a Pre-A Thousand Leaves demo-ish version. Dig that Mu-tron Biphase.
I wish they wouldve kept this long experimental version on the Thousand Leaves cd

Loved this film, Chicago native but went ATX during the filming of this, saw the premiere in Austin. This was filmed straight south of me at St. Elmo and south 1st in austin, TX.
I would take this version over the album version any day.
Better than the 1k Leaves version gang.
The riff starting at 0:19 reminds me to Howard Shore's guitars in David Cronenberg's CRASH. That reminded me of Glen Branca... who happens to be a major influence of Sonic Youth (and the guy who released their first record!).

Everybody Wants Some!! (Richard Linklater), that's it. Movies don't care about soundtracks anymore, its mostly original score.
I can't think of any aside from maybe Drive or Baby Driver. There aren't any movies that have soundtracks like Pi, Requiem For A Dream or Natural Born Killers. Everything is made by computers and doesn't seem to have the same heart or soul.
