  • In this video I tackle the issue with maxxairs voltage sensitive electrics. Reportedly you can use the fan while driving but when the voltage goes above 13.9V as it does with the engine running or the solar on full then it starts to bug out sometimes cutting out. This simple fix has worked for us hopefully this will help others to!

Thanks for the great tutorial. It’s been 2 years since you posted this video, what was the feed back that you got after monitoring the diode for a while? Was this a good long term solution? Thanks again 🙌

Where's your kettle from? Love the shape. Was going to recommend doing a link tree thing or whatever to refer people to when they want to know where to buy things they see on your channel(especially since you've joined TikTok... But your lifestyle is kind of going anti-consumerism so not sure you're interested. Still, people that find you and that you inspire may want to know where to buy the things they learn about from you. Plus, it's fun for referring people to Patreon, links to favorite places you've found, favorite books, referrals to friend's blogs etc. Really whatever you want.

Great video and an easy repair for a problem I have but what are the specs and part number for the diode ?

Would you have the same problem if you were plugged into shore power. Mine cuts out occasionally but then if I wait a while I can start it up again.

I guess it would depend on what your set up is for leisure charging when on hook up. I had the same issue as soon as any charging was applied to the batteries. my guess is it works again once the initial bulk charge phase of your mains charger is over and it returns to float

It does seem strange that it can’t handle alternator voltage

@@OffGridBruce I wonder if it has anything to do with running batteries in parallel or series 🤔

@@Texasishot1052x 12v batteries in series would make a 24v system.
