Just sell my Gen1 Fortuner 14 years without any single issue, tomorrow will be releasing our 2021 V Fortuner. You are not buying the badge you are buying the quality. My sister owns a Montero in just one year broken head unit, malfunctioning aircon etc. I own Gen 1 Fort , Vios 2011, Vios 2014, Gen 1 86, 2020 Hilux G, 2017 Honda Civic, 2021 Navara, 2008 Ford Escape. I can compare them, you can notice how Toyota almost perfectly design the individual parts.

I drive a 2016 version it seems Toyota is getting rid of old stocks since they probably produced so much making way for a brand new Fortuner in 2-3 years time.
I am a foreigner and coming to live in the Philippines and planning to buy a SUV, and I love the look of this, but I have a problem with it. The problem is that the seats at the back folds up and takes up so much space at the back. I spoke with my wife and we decided to buy a Nissan Terra, because of the space that is available, because the seats fold down in the floor, allowing more space. It has got everything that we need for our business and normal travel. Toyota knew that customers complained of the lack of space, because of the seats that folds up on the left and right, rather than have them folded down in the floor, which reduces the space. They knew this, but still repeated this again in their 2021 version. They have lost many customers, because of their bad decision to make the seats like this again. Please take a look at Mitsubishi and Nissan, who had this sorted out in their previous versions.
it only looks like it but it is still the same. The nissan terra 3rd row seat folds to the floor, BUT the floor is raised, thus still reducing overall volume/space. Toyota's folding seat to the side may occupy space but the flooring is flushed/not raised.

The wheels don't match, they should put back the old V wheels. Also, I think the reason why the fortuner V has a manual tail gate is because the G variant is no longer available so maybe, the V variant took place for the G variant.
The G model is still there, albeit it is now a stripped down base model.

@@junarden546 Theres no manual way to turn it on sir. Sensor-dependent. Set your lights to auto then bring your car outside. Projectors will turn off then drls turn on. Opposite naman during night time :)

I can say these is a biased review btw and also there are other suv's that are better and has a lot more features and to give/offer in terms of the price point. Waiting for the isuzu mu-x to properly choose a new sidekick in the suv category. Autodeal #1 haha
