Ok ok! I hear you all loud and clear.
I’ll give this foundation another go and alter the way and amount I apply. Should I film it? Let me know by replying to this comment ❤
You should try the other color!
I hope you do an update on this. I find your videos very informative.
Yes film it please!
Update please
Yes.
Robert Welsh has an excellent tutorial on how to properly apply this foundation to get the best results. For starters, you picked up way too much product on the sponge (press lightly into the pad once and bounce any excess off on the inside cover) and second you tap it into the skin and not drag the applicator across your face. Part of the reason why you see it settling into your lines is because you put on too much. It does oxidize, and the more product you load onto the sponge and put on your face, the more cakey/orange or yellow it will look. Also, TirTir is a K-Beauty (South Korean) brand. It’s popular in Japan, but it’s a K-Beauty brand. The reason why you got the results you did is that you put way too much on in the first place.
I second this...his video is great.
Agreed!!! Sooooo many influencers are making this mistake. And I’m not trying to be mean, but before they review it they should really look into how to apply it properly before reviewing it. And she just kept saying how high coverage it was. Like pretty much anything you apply with that amount is going to have high coverage (aside from, of course, something that’s extremely sheer). But, when you apply so much, you’re going to have settling in lines and it’s going to look heavy/cakey, especially the longer you wear it for.
@@onewhisper22005 I’m getting to the point where if I see an influencer putting this foundation on incorrectly I just leave the video. I’m glad I was able to find the correct way to apply this foundation when I first started looking at this foundation. I know YMMV and there are people for whom the foundation won’t work even after learning how to apply it, but learn how to apply it correctly first before you say it doesn’t work. I’ve never used a cushion foundation before, so it was important to me to know how to put it on.
Yeah ok but there are a few others that also apply it correctly
I have used it as a concealer and it works amazingly. This does not crease on me which is so so rare for me. I love this foundation
Yes I got a concealer shade too. It's great under the eyes.
Do you need to set it under the eyes ?
I agree with the very comment below mine, Robert Walsh demonstrated it the best. Less is more. Watched some other MUA also came back the second day and retried it with just using what was left on inside the lid. They also after pressing " lightly " into product pressed sponge on inside pad, like when you pickup bronzer or blush and tap on your hand first.
After u press into foundation, you're supposed to tap sponge on the inside black lid to remove some of the foundation before applying to face
I haven’t touched any of my other foundations since I found this one, but the key is definitely less is more. Tapping the sponge a few times on the little door and then I go over it with a damp beauty blender to pick up any additional product solves the issues you had with settling.
Just my two cents with 53 year old skin, buffing it on with a brush instead of using the applicator sponge makes a huge difference. And def a less is more situation. Use the smallest amount possible and layer over spots you want to cover.
I love this foundation! I tried it with Tirtir’s milk skin toner and the ceramic milk ampoule. Definitely glass skin vibes!
I was surprised that I actually really liked it. I don't think it will be one I use everyday. Just like you said maybe for a special occasion that I want to have full coverage. Thanks for the review!
Did u use moisturizer first and primer? Also did u use a setting spray?I'm in Yexas 100 and above some days. Need full coverage that last all day. I have melasma without makeup I'd never look a person in the eyes. Help ❤your videos
Thanks for the review Sarah 👑 I’m going to have to pass on this foundation not feeling the yellowness🤣 but it looked so nice on you still! Have you done NARS Sheer glow foundation review? I’m so curious what’s your shade and how did you like it?
Hi Sarah !! New follower here could you possibly do a review on the NARS reflecting eye brightener love your videos ❤
Hi Sarah! I’ve been WAITING for your review on this one! Sarah is the ONLY ONE I TRUST! Love you ❤✨
OMGG THANK 👏YOUUUU👏. Goshhh this was my experience and everytime I hear someone praise this I'm like what am I missing ??? I am a make up artist so I know how to apply but this just didn't work for me. I loved look at first application but it did not sit well at alll in tzone and it looked smudged in areas I needed extra coverage andddd I HAD A YELLOW mustache too😂💛 to each their own its ok if it might not work for some and work great for others.
There's definitely a learning curve with this. I applied the first time as you did and received the same results. I then tried tapping the sponge on the little door that is in the compact and applying way less and received a better result. But best results have come for me by using my own foundation brush to apply and then tapping in with my beauty blender.
If I will do touch up after couple of hours on the “problematic” areas, does it makes the job?
I'm continually impressed by the quality of your videos.. Your hard work sets a high standard! -- "Hard work transforms dreams into reality.."
I want but shade match will be impossible as you demonstrated. Plus summer.. even more confusing 😫
I am 55 with combo skin and I adore this foundation. I use a brush and one tap of the brush is enough for my entire face. Less is more. It seems to oxidize a little but not terribly.
I love this foundation. Yes, you should listen to everyone's advice so i won't repeat it. Lol, i use the shade 21N, and it's a perfect match for me. Yes, almost all the shades oxidize a shade deeper, so keep that in mind, but yes, the under tone is important. You should keep looking for on-line swatches because i think you may need a touch deeper shade and definitely neutral. When the shade is perfect , it wears better because you cant see a miss match when it slowly wears throughout the day. Also, even though the applicator works great, a beauty blender and brush work well too.
I find it funny that people in America think this is Japans foundation when it is actually Korean lol
Even I thought it was Japanese cuz they advertise it as Japan's no.1 foundation lmao
@@jiophone2412 Yeah its korean, I don't know why Americans thought it was Japanese when in Japan hardly anyone actually uses it
@@lavayuki because Americans don’t live in Japan nor Korea… so, when there’s mixed advertising here saying it’s Japans #1 and it’s KBeauty, how are we supposed to know?!! Do you know what the #1 foundation is in Italy? The Netherlands? India? Africa?
Not really funny just not a brand we are familiar with..
@@mistyisha We aren't in the stone age, that is what google is for. But I am fully aware that people in the US generally know nothing about other countries or anything outside their own country for that matter anyway, and then just do false advertising without even a simple google search to at least check where a brand is from. That is utterly idiotic imo
@@mistyisha valid points. However, I think if you’re choosing to give a review like these, you should do your research. Sure, it’s #1 in Japan (according to her and many in comments), but she def should have mentioned it’s KBeauty 🤷🏻♀️
It looks like website offers few options in the "warm" category for tan to deep shades? I am ELDW 4w1. Could anyone help choose a shade for me? 😊
They're all warm aka orange.
Also, you’re supposed to bounce the powder puff on the back of the black cover to get product off, because you picked up way too much product. This will make your foundation oxidize and break up and feel way too cakey. It should have a natural glass skin finish using a very light layer.
It's Korean not Japanese. Just because it says no1 in sales in Japan people get confused. I've been wearing Korean cushion foundations for many years and they are great ones from different brands. It's just went viral because they focused their pr to Internet Influencers when other companies don't care because they already catering to billions Asians 😊 Love from Greece 🇬🇷 🎉❤
You definitely need another shade. It looks off in color on you. Even with the rest of the products. I think it’s battling with your natural skin tone. You can see around the eyes. If you can find your shade, it looks good on your skin. Alot less product I think would work. Btw, I watch ALL of your videos and I love you. ❤️
Who would have guessed, I found my perfect shade in 24W, and no oxidizing on this one. I also skipped concealer for the very first time, lol😂😂no colour correcting or concealer necessary💕💕💕I got a comfortable 14 hours wear with no touchups. I am in love with tirtir💖💖💖
I live in the Caribbean. This lastssss on me in our high heat and humidity. I really think you applied a bit too much. I got a 2nd concealer shade bec it's beautiful under the eyes. Depending on how you apply this it does not need to be be full coverage.
Supposed to tap it on that black lid after picking it up, to evenly distribute and use a tiny bit of the product. Not supposed to drag. Supposedly.
Many people who try this foundation for the first time dab more than once for product. I heard (from Robert Welsh) that you only need one dab for the whole face.
I want you eyeshadow. That is beautiful.
Its garbage.
Nope.
Im learning. If a bunch of " influencers" are ALL pushing a product and acting like its the best ever, its probably low quality junk that they're getting paid to push.
I have to press it not swipe it. U are doing it all wrong lady 😢
Pardon, this isn't a very useful review because you didn't show any sink prep routine nor mention of any prep products. Ya show have known how to AND what type of skin prep to use prior to try a mouse type base. How won't you expect gross build-ups around the folds...especially on mature skin? Please consider trying it WITH a good skin prep AND go in very light hand. Good luck.
Can't she afford to get something to keep her hair off her face?
I mean…can’t you think of a nicer way to say that or…just keep it to yourself? Her hair isn’t really in her face at all. And as long as it isn’t bothering her what’s the big deal?
